3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle and served in my ratebeer tulip: Poured a clean amber hue with a very nice head and very nice lace. The aroma has notes of chessy mold, horsey funk but shocked by how much of the tropical fruit esters are still around from the hops. The taste is unique with the acidic and tropical fruit notes, well done biscuit and caramel malt balancing act with the emerging yeast character. The funk is still very much in check and perhaps always will be. The balance is shocking drinkable. I am digging this wayyyyyyyyyyyy more than I would have thought. I for one am glad this did not turn into a overwhelming funk fest.
Helt klart den mest krydret i den serie. Har kun en lille smag af lambic... nuplastikk (6312) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 27, 2013
The malts work a lot better with the Brett. Thick red-orange, opaque and yeasty. Lasting foamy white head. Pronounced Brett tones, not really puckering sour though. Too much of a body to display yeast subtleties. Drinkable and interesting, but not that good. deekyn (1459) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 5, 2013
A - pours dark orange caramel with low eggshell ring of a head. Some spotty lacing. S - pretty linear aromas. Tea bitters, musty piney hops, sweet over ripe orange and grapefruits. Some light funk and citrus flowers. M - dry, medium light body. Strong carb. Lingering bitter citrus. T - taste follows the nose well. Like a malty musty pale. Tea bitters, musty over ripe orange and grapefruits. Caramel malts. Some Brett funk. O - simple citrusy bretty pale. 3.3 salvaticas (834) - - JUN 15, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 20, 2013 On tap. So interesting. Very bitter up front but great balance. Not sure how to categorize but very good. Update: couldn’t forget about it, back for more. Really good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Richmond 20th. Aroma is finally something different from the rest of the yeast series. Very fruity, and a bit funky. Flavor is funky, and quite a bit fruity. Quite nice.

Bottle @ RG 20. Hazy caramel with cream head and a few particles. Smells sweet tart. Tastes sweet with a hint of tart. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Sampled at the Richmond Gathering 20th! pours a clear copper amber with good tan head. Looks identical amongst all beers. Doughy and caramel and hoppy as hell on the aroma and flavor. It is VERY difficult to discern any noticeable difference. This one is the fruitiest, and spiked funk that shines. You can pick this one out of the lineup. But the others are just too similar. From the bottle poured a cloudy brownish brew with a white head. Funky malty aroma. Sour, funky, flavor. Medium bodied and nasty. Drake (13949) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Bottle shared by Butters at the 20th Richmond Gathering. Pours a hazy amber color with a large foamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of stone fruits, funk, caramel, citrus hops. The taste is bright citrus, earth, caramel. Medium bodied. Nice.
