Draughtt at Churchkey. Bright golden color, medium white head, great lacing. Aroma of white pepper and licorice. Taste is bitter throughout with slight sourness. Does not resemble a hefeweizen. Seems rather pointless to vary the yeast, but change the base beers, and to include so much hops and alcohol, overwhelming the yeast. More gimmick than taste. Creamy off-white excellent fully lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Some yeasty notes. moderate bitter flaor. Long great bitter finish with some candis notes. Creamy palate. The yeast series beer that I enjoyed the most. Strykzone (7799) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 7, 2010
Pour from the 12 oz. glass is half tan foam. The beer is an oxidized copper color. In the nose I get hops and Fall spices to begin but bubblegum and banana soon emerge. First sip is also hop dominated and it is a biting, tart citrus variety. Some spice, caramel, and alcohol is noted. Is this really a hefe and not an IPA? Eventually some wheat and yeast flavors can be tasted but they remain subservant to the IPA notes. They also seem to be an extension of the caramel. At the last sip cloves move to the front. This is a fascinating beer and a tasty one, at that. Whatever it is, I like it. madsberg (11799) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUL 7, 2010

Bottle from Hopduvel. Hazy copper-orange color, with an good beige head.
Aroma great hops (like an IPA) fruity, not an Hefeweizen like.
Taste refreshing, good hopbitter, fruits, citrusnotes, and little fruitsweetness. VERY NICE brew ! Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2010
It’s beautiful hazy bronze with a huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma is very hoppy and fruity like in a nice IPA with loads of citrus notes. The flavour is light to moderately sweet with exactly the same notes and a bitterness. If I concentrate and let the beer get warm, I find very light yeast notes- and even if the beer is tasty, it’s miles away from a German weizen, not even if was a weizen on hop-speed... Draught at KØ10. Clear amber colour. Grapey hop aroma. The flavour is a little sweet and quite hoppy. Jaksmart (456) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2010
Bottle. Slightly hazy, amber/copper colour, with a large white foam. Aroma is slightly yeasty with less hops than the Lager, a little citrus, fruits and flowers. Taste is quite heavy on yeast and sugary sweetness, some malt as well as a little honey. Generally more sweet and less hoppy than the other yeast-editions. The finish has a bit of hops though. Medium body, medium carbonation, long duration.
