Bottle 33cl. @ DOE Tasting, Fox & Hounds, Holstebro.yespr (45508) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 10, 2010
Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus - orange, moderate to light heavy yeasty, fruity, esters, yeast, leather notes, not banana but yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO the the yeast fights with the hops.

Bottled. Orangeish amber colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready and caramelly malty along with some mild spices. Flavour is quite the same with quite strong citrus fruity notes and also mild alcohol comes through. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2010
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear amber with a dense and lacing off-white head. Some citrus in the nose with loads of yeasty accents and an edge of phenols. Rather solid body - especially for a Hefe - fruity notes, not banana though, again very yeasty. Astringent and very bitter finish. 110510 Travlr (24913) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 12, 2010
Draughtt at Churchkey. Bright golden color, medium white head, great lacing. Aroma of white pepper and licorice. Taste is bitter throughout with slight sourness. Does not resemble a hefeweizen. Seems rather pointless to vary the yeast, but change the base beers, and to include so much hops and alcohol, overwhelming the yeast. More gimmick than taste. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2012

Cloudy amber beer. Foamy off white head. Light palate, semi soft and dry. Creamy malt - soft and minerally but with a crisp trailing edge. Hops here are tame and repressed. Finishes soft and creamy. Nice.
Tap at CPK. Pours a cloudy, amber-gold with a medium, off-white head. Lots of fruity esters in the nose with definite hops and yeast. Very sweet with some bread and banana, plus citrus and grass hops. Medium to full in body with average carbonation. Finishes dry and grassy with lasting yeast and some sugary malts. Very good stuff.
