Ungstrup (37674) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2010
Bottled. A clear amber beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has notes of caramel, cloves, and banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of cloves and other spices, yeast, caramel, citrus and a bit banana, leading to a dry citrusy finish.

33cl, new Danish brew Anno 2010, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, yet easy to drink, balanced, hazy, rocky head, nice brew

finol (3391) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAY 21, 2010
Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Very sharp with the typical fruityness of a hefe. Interesting but to me this series is less educating than the Single hop series since the yeast characteristics are more obvious.

caesar (7161) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2010
Tap @ Copenhagen 2010. Clear orange color, short head. Typical hefeweizen aroma of banana and wheat. Quite sweet. Balances ok with the hoppy APA backbone, but it doesnt really fit the style IMO.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 27, 2010
Draught at KØ10. Clear amber colour. Grapey hop aroma. The flavour is a little sweet and quite hoppy.

Beer5000 (6492) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 18, 2010
Sampled @ Mikkeller bar. Dark golden body with a diminishing off-white head. Fruity aroma dominated by banana but also some citrus and malt. Flavor is malt, caramel, fruity like aroma, spicy and quite hoppy. This is like American pale ale mixed with hefe weissbier. Nice and refreshing but too much hops and flavors to really be able to present the whole specter of nuances in the yeast profiles, even if the yeast profile is definitively present in this one.

thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 10, 2010
(11.2oz bottle thanks to Mora2000) clear orange with a long lasting white head. Nose is floral, bright citrus, oranges, brett, funky and spices. Taste of florals, lightly bitter, perfumey, brett. Finish is more perfume, oily and well carbonated. Not much like a German Hefe to me with the exception of some citrus.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 26, 2010
(11.2oz bottle, courtesy of Mora2000) Pours a clear copper body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, herbs, grass, and subtle horseblanket interestingly. Flavor of citrus, herbs, caramel, light pine.

bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 28, 2010
Tried the series altogether. Was expecting banana notes in this which I didn’t really seem to pick up on, mainly got light cloves and some citrus notes. Didn’t do a lot for me this one but great to try the series in a lineup.

bierkoning (13355) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 3, 2010
Bottle from yespr, thanks! Amber color. Soft grassy hops and banana in the aroma. Full bodied. Grassy oily hops with citrus and banana, lingering on in the longish oily hopbitter aftertaste.
