UPDATED: APR 17, 2014 Visited these guys while staying in St Augustine for a few days. Got this on draft, served in a pint glass. Medium reddish brown color with white head. Aroma is roasted malt, some nuttiness and fruity leaning hops. Taste is also roasted malt, pecan flavor sticks out more with pleasant fruity hop bitterness. Medium body, medium carbonation with light roasty bitter finish. Pretty good.
Draft at tasting room. Pint. Deep golden brown. Thick head and mild lace. Aroma slightly nutty, caramel, dough, toffie. Taste is muted with nuts and caramel malts. Rather dull. Medium mouth, low carb. Caramel and but finish. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 2, 2014
on tap-tight lt tan-amber. A-soft nutty-med malt. T-nutty-med malt, some earthy hops. Finishes with an herbal bite. burg326 (5479) - Florida, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Poured a brown color from the Draft with aromas of pecans, light roast some malt a land a twinge of caramel. Flavors are the same as the aromas was hoping for a more pecan flavor like it was in the aroma. hippiemusic (58) - Florida, USA - OCT 27, 2013
Caramel in color, with a nice nutty finish from the ton of pecans that they put into the wort. jbruner (4696) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - SEP 9, 2013
Pours a hazy brown on tap with fluffy off-white head that leaves light lace. Aroma is tobacco and earth, hints of nut, and a tinny back end. Taste falls flat, thin and kind of non-existant. I was disappointed after the nose, taste just wasn’t there.

Mile Marker 1513 Pecan de Leon Nut Brown Ale might have the longest name in beer and it is pretty good as well. Light pecan aroma coming from a tan head and dark pour. Taste is nutty with a harsh bitter finish that fortunately does not last. Pecan de Leon is a good brown ale but not as unique as the description and name would have you believe. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - APR 14, 2013
On draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy brown with a white head. Nose is some toast, noticeable pecans (cheers to that!), and some light tobacco and earthy cocoa. Flavor is similar with noticeable pecans, some light toast, some tobacco, and some light cocoa. Light to medium in body and an outstanding brown ale, especially since they say there are pecans and deliver on that promise. I understand that this rating may seem abnormally high, but the flavor of this brown really impressed me for a brown. Aurelius (5294) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Huge tan head on top of a clear, medium rusty brown beer. Good growler with painted logo. Big malty aroma with plenty of fruity hops. Semi-heavy body, slippery mouthfeel. Nutty sweetness, medium heavy hopping, malty,a bit woody. Very satisfying and tasty. Growler, thanks to LuckyDog. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - DEC 2, 2012
11/29/12. On tap at the brewpub. Clear brown pour, some red under the light, with a small khaki head. Nutty, almost meaty aroma with some caramel and soy sauce. Light nutty flavor with some caramel and a hint of bubblegum. Not bad.
