niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2015
On cask at Greyhound, Hartshill. Pours ruby with an off white head. Wonderful aroma, very smooth, only criticism is it’s a bit too sweet. Nice smoky background. Decent.

Benjii (3050) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 20, 2012
On cask at The Maltings in York. Pours a dark brown colour with a thick beige head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and toasted rye. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Mildly bitter with lingering dark chocolate and burnt toast.

Cask, Interval Cafe, Sheffield. Dark brown, smoked meat and caramel aroma. Sweet, chocolate and cherry flavour, then some hops transitioning to a bitter bright finish.

Rune (14072) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 27, 2011
Half, gravicask at Bree Louise. Deep, amber coloured body. No head. Aroma of semi sweet malts. Dusty hops and sweet, grainy malts in a fine balanced flavour. Rounded bitterness to the ending. Pleasant (London, 20.03.2011).

Leighton (23126) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 18, 2011
Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Ruby-gold pour with a light film. Good hops, some toasty biscuit. Mild caramel flavor, light earth. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Mild sticky finish, some sugars. Good balance, though with a slight medicinal note. Pretty good stuff overall.

duff (5486) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2007
[email protected] Pembury Tavern, Hackney. Eggy and sulfuric character. Grainy, dry wholemeal bread character. Finish is quite dry. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, and the flavour is short.

DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2007
Cask Handpump at the Babington Arms (JDW), Derby 22/11/2006 Thick white head. Dark coloured and slightly strong in alcohol. A little rich on the palate. Some bitterness in a smooth lasting malt finish.

hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2006
Cask at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark amber. Sweet aroma that at first resembled honey. Earthy, grainy taste with some background sourness. A bit oily. Late bitterness. Wasn’t keen on this.

DruncanVeasey (8607) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2006
UPDATED: JAN 18, 2007 Deep mahogany body with reddish tints. Vanilla foam and lace. Lovely creamy sourish coffee, chocolate, caramel. Red wine creaminess and a tang of fruity booze. A fine, foody pint.

jehoey (765) - Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 2, 2006
