Ungstrup (37217) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 7, 2009
Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, and so is the flavor, though added light notes of acidity and nuts, leading to a bitter finish where light notes of plums and rum appears.

Botella. Hazy brown colour. Malty and bit fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel. Bit sweet wuite toasty maltiness in the flavour along with some dark fruits and caramel. No storm in this brew.

yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2008
Bottle, shared by fonefan. The beer did it’s best to escape the bottle when the cap was popped, but ended up as a hazy, brown liquid topped by a beige head. Quite weak on the nose, with hints of smoke, licorice, roasted malt and dried fruits. Sweet, roasted flavor with caramel and fruits. Some bitterness too. Medium to full body, highly effervescent. Sweet and roasted finish. Sure a drinkable beer, but not especially exciting, and certainly not deserving it’s name. (080823)

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2008
TFODRBSG08 Courtesy of Ungstrup. It’s golden, red-brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, wood and hints of fruit. The flavour is fruity with a somewhat chemical citrussy touch and notes of wood and malt. It’s a bit out of balance.

Bottle, bought @ The Cockney, Aarhus.
Pours deep red-brown with a great, creamy beige head. Super duration. Aroma is sweet malty, light fruity, some dried raisins and pears. High to medium carbonation, foams up a little in my mouth. Sweet flavour, lightly fruity tart - plummy - some caramel and light chocolate. Not very English...

hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2007
Dark brown with a beige head. Sour malt flavour with rather rough cheap rum aroma. Taste is sour and vinous. Not much else. Quite liked it at first because it wasn’t what I had expected, but I confess it began to pall.
