3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask, The Swan and Rushes, Leicester. Very dark brown with red tints and a cream foam. Mellow coffee with weetabix and light liquorice. Peppery with nutty dark chocolate and dark berry bite. A little bit funky with a dry, woody finish. Decent.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Gravity @ The Duchess Of Cambridge. The pour’s deep brown with a small head. The aroma’s mild lactose, chocolate syrup, some toasted chestnuts. The taste is sweet cocoa, light charred grain, some tobacco leaf bitterness on the finish. Light notes of red berry. Light body, slightly watery. Somewhat subdued on the palate. Overall, a decent beer. Nothing to write home about.
