Cask at Land of Liberty Peace and Plenty, Chorleywood, Herts. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, citrus on the nose. Tastes quite similar, hoppy, malty, citrus, hint of caramel. Not much in the way of Amarillo. ManVsBeer (10263) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2016
Cask @ New Brew-m, Burnley. Golden with a small head. Has a floral-fruitiness, although somewhat bland tasting in this respect. HogTownHarry (6622) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - NOV 21, 2015
September 11, 2015 - at Craft Clerkenwell; handpull. Clear amber-gold with a solid creamy white head (4-). Grassy slightly milky (yeah, Iím so impressionable) aroma - pretty simple really (7-) - clean, at least. Taste is a bit weird - like pungent milkweed pod with light resin - quite light. Light body, slightly chewy, a little still, tries to build some coating bitterness in the finish, but fades off instead - just okay. Inoffensive, but not a lot of character. foxo82 (899) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2015
Hand pulled at The Kings Head, Leicester. Crisp, dry, bitter. Ginger hops. Decent ale. jacekziegler (23) - Newton Abbot, Devon, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2014
Gravity at Tuckerís Maltings Festival Where are Amarillo hops? Sadly not in this one. Poor aroma overall. Burnt caramel and bread in taste. Bitterness is rather lingering and unpleasant. Big disappointment.

Cask at the NWAF, Manchester. Clear gold with a thin to medium white head. Nice citrus and hop aroma. Flavour has hops but not as much Amarillo as I like, still a tasty enough brew though. Some vanilla type sweetness. Slightly grainy on the palate. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 18, 2011
Cask at the Manchester & County (JDW), Manchester, England.RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2011
Clear amber colour with tiny off-white head.
Fruity woody malty aroma with mild English hops.
Fruity English style hops, some caramel sweetness and woody maltiness in flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Good fruity Ale.
Cask, JDW, Carlisle. Another beer that i expected more from. Oddly-perfumed, with a bittersweet taste, edging towards dryness. Mid brown in colour, the taste does settle down, but it is quite a standard flavoured beer. The hop note is there, but itís a bit harsh on the back of the tongue. Hint ogf apples, which Iím never a huge fan of in beer. imdownthepub (14454) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2011
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Biscuity malt with an earthy, woody background flavour then just a hint of lemony, citrus hops, could do with more, if you advertise Amarillo, let us have it. bhensonb (15088) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 23, 2011
Cask at The Lord Moon of the Mall on Whitehall. Pours amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is fruit. Flavor is fruit and earth. Citrus fruit - tho not zest. Mildly bitter. Goes a bit toward leather/wood with time. And always fruity.
