Cask at the Crosse Keys. Pours a clear, dark gold with a filmy white head. Ripe citrus and toast in the aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor, oddly roasty and smokey, some leafy bitters, some ash and wood. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Scorched earth, slight grass, citrus rind in the finish. Overall quite decent. DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2011
Cask handpull, The Felix, Nuneaton. Brassy gold with a white top. Hay and mellow lemony orange peel aroma. Gentle biscuit character; good soft condition, orange tang, digestives. Not much Amarillo happening. Wet dough afters. Disappointing. BeerViking (4782) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2011
Cask/handpump at Moon Under Water JDW Leicester Sq. Pors amber witt a tight white head, malt and grassy hops on nose, good crisp bite with a fruity middle and a dry-malty finish. Nice balance.

Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2010. Small & lasting bubbly white head; clear light amber body. Zesty, sweet US hop all round profile. Relatively dry and aromatic, sweet floral aftertaste. Light body, fair carbonation and a balanced finish. Decent amarillo goodness but there’s always room for more in my book & this doesn’t quite tip the scale in that respect. Nice golden nevertheless.

@Griffin, Frome. Bright brassy colour. The aroma is accented towards caramel with a hint of wood. Sweetish, with slightly mushroomy notes. The finish is earthy - there is actually no bright amarillo goodness at all. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 10, 2010
Cask @ The Griffin, Frome. Copper-orange. Stable white head. Balanced aroma with tasty freshly herbal hops. Slight skunkiness too, though. Soft palate. Very nice flavors. Again with these strange smokey, peaty flavors that are not really supposed to be there. Seems like a flaw rather than an intentional thing but given I like peat flavors it works for me. It finishes with a relatively long hop bitterness and leaves a lingering astringent kiss on the tongue. I actually like this one. leaparsons (10546) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2010
Cask, The Criterion, Leicester. Amber gold with minimal head. Aromas are Lemon and spices with light piney notes. Caramel and toffee light base malts with yeast and woodiness. Flavours are orange marmalade with dry biscuit malts and zesty yeast and citrus. Dry on the finish. Pretty good. Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 10, 2010
Cask at the White Horse American Beer Festival, 4th July 2010. Standard copper looks. Not too much aroma. Mealy, hefty flavour. Smoked meats and a bit of dairy too. Some resinous hops underneath but rather too sweet and heavy, needs more upfront bite. FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 19, 2010
Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo)
7 simple malty aroma, a little sweet and caramelly
4 Rich orange, healthy spongy head.
7 Sweet caramalt body, with loads of gently-drying resiny bitterness. Quite noble, despite the name.
4 Rich grapefruity bitterness in the mouth and in the retronasals. Finish also pleasantly bitter.
15 resiny bitterness in the finish keeps you wanting more.
