Cask at the Crosse Keys. Pours a clear, dark gold with a filmy white head. Ripe citrus and toast in the aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor, oddly roasty and smokey, some leafy bitters, some ash and wood. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Scorched earth, slight grass, citrus rind in the finish. Overall quite decent.

harrisoni (18574) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2005
Cask at GBBF Russety colour. Amarillo hop nose with a clean taste. This was good, liked it a lot, the hops aren’t overpowering and it is very drinkable

Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 28, 2010
@Griffin, Frome. Bright brassy colour. The aroma is accented towards caramel with a hint of wood. Sweetish, with slightly mushroomy notes. The finish is earthy - there is actually no bright amarillo goodness at all.

yngwie (17049) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 27, 2006
Cask. Clear, golden, still, with some white bubbles. Aroma of citrus and pineapples, typical American. Hoppy flavor with pineapple, pine, resin and citrus. Lightly astringent in the mouth, and the finish is long and hoppy. Nice one. (060712)

Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo)
7 simple malty aroma, a little sweet and caramelly
4 Rich orange, healthy spongy head.
7 Sweet caramalt body, with loads of gently-drying resiny bitterness. Quite noble, despite the name.
4 Rich grapefruity bitterness in the mouth and in the retronasals. Finish also pleasantly bitter.
15 resiny bitterness in the finish keeps you wanting more.
