A hoppy and pale favourite. Loveley’s is an aromatic cascade of flavour, named after the historic location of the brewery ’Loveley’s Green’.
Loveley’s Fair was our first ever brew back in 2008, launched at our annual Eddyfest beer and music weekend; where between 70 and 80 real ales and ciders are available and accompanied by non-stop live music.

Cask at Tap East - Stratford, London. Pors clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds slight plastic tangerines and simple pale malts. Light-medium sweet flavor with lightly doughy pale malts, a bit of grass, more tangerine, faint citrus rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Moderate sweetness to finish, some lightly abrasive grassy bitterness, white bread, orange. OK.

Cask conditioned handpump Criterion Leicester. A yellow gold coloured beer with a lot of lace aside a white head. A good lemony hoppy beer particularly in the aroma. Some biscuit malt with the hops in the mouth. Pretty decent.

Cask, Criterion, Leicester. Golden with a thin white foam. Aromas are crisp lemon with yeast and low biscuit malts. Leafy with peppery spices and hints of honey. Flavours are sweet lemon with lemon rind and resinous citrus. Spritzy yeast with light pineapple and a dry, earthy finish. Pleasant.

This was a most enjoyable beer, drunk in the Edwardstone White Horse pub, which the Mill Green brewery sits behind. The best of the range of 5 ales they had available on the day we visited, and one I will certainly seek out in the future.
