On tap at the brewery. Pours a lightly hazed brown with a thin white head. Sweet malt on the nose, vanilla, a bit of cocoa. Sweet caramel and warm malt, hints of wood and bourbon. Warm and malty, alcohol is present but not offensive. Smooth and lovely.
Carmelized malt, cocoa and almost a licorice spice to the aroma and flavor. Malt heavy but overall a nice beer. Has a vanilla bourbon taste in the finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Dark brown with a reddish hue. Scotch/oak and booze. Full bodied. Sweet and boozy flavor. I’d have guessed a higher ABV. Good but a small pour was plenty. johnnnniee (4376) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 18, 2016
Tap at Tap and Mallet
Dark brown/ black color with a wisp of a bubbly off white head. Rich toasty light caramel with plenty of dark dried fruits and a touch of smoke. Pretty tasty scotch ale. DiarmaidBHK (5459) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 1, 2014
Draft at brewpub. Pours dark brown with a head that quickly dissipates. Has a nice peaty character on the nose. Big malt and caramel notes on the tongue. Finish lingers a bit but it does kind of give an impression of scotch. Nice.
