Had a 6 pack many yrs back, then about 3 yrs ago in winter they sold single bottles with a different glass, bought this one don’t have glass no more. Got a mill street shirt and 2 vouchers off them to be used on 4 cans or a 6 pack @ beer store of there beer so picked this up and see no review so here go’s:
Smell is cherry, chocolate and roastedness from bottle. Rostedness and chocolate from glass. 2 finger brown head. Black beer. Starts off wet, then disapers into chocolate that lingers around and then a roasted toasted coffee note with a little bitterness from the coffee. This time around the chocolate seems alot more notied then I can remember. Cheer’s. Good beer. AleRider78 (1413) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 17, 2014
"Very nice super dark brown appearance. Smelling the coffee and roasted malts almost immediately. Head doesn’t really stay long. Taste is fairly strong, coffee, hints of chocolate, nuts, wow. Mouthfeel is of a spicy variety, or more like tingly on the inside. Pretty damn smooth going down. I love my coffee and my beer, and these go so well together. The aroma, while mild, is very pleasant dark coffee. Flavour is more coffee with malt and hints of vanilla and chocolate. Very clean, simple, tasty and easy drinking. I absolutely love the flavour, but I just wish there was more of it. Not very robust for a porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone punkska101 (2136) - Chambly, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 10, 2014

341 ml bottle. Pours black with a thin, yet resilient, beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted cereal, red and blue grapes. Flavor is coffee, roasted grains, hints of smoke and is very dry. Finish is blueberry, grapes, dark coffee...not as bitter as I would’ve expected. Lingering roasted grains. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very decent.

341 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with full tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, dry chocolate and dried coffee. Flavors of weak coffee, nuts, and .roasted malts. Light and quaffable. A nice porter. jksipa (1008) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 8, 2013
Bottle from the Beer Store. Pours black with a small dark tan head. Nose is coffee and chocolate and plums. Moderately sweet to start but coffee and chocolate bitterness create a nice dry finish. Medium creamy body and slightly soft carbonation; seems too light for a porter, but very tasty. gegwilson (3788) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2013
Bottle given by Ellen and Malcolm. Thanks! Pours very dark with short lasting tan head. Too much carbonation. Quite sweet at first before a nice dry finish with lots of coffee and a hint of chocolate. Nice. zvikar (6349) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - OCT 25, 2013

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thank you Excellent Little Brother! Very dark brown, opaque, dark tan head. Sweet vanilla and coffee aroma, sweet, dry and roasty taste, then comes coffee sourness. Full body, sweetish coffee finish.
