Mill Street’s version of a Czech-style Pilsner lager with more of everything in it - malt, hops and alcool ! ("Doppel" means "double" in German). German malts and hops along with Czech Saaz hops weave a large but delicate balance between smooth malt richness and dry floral hoppiness. Prost !

355ml bottle from mix pack. Pours a huge thick foamy off white head. Has a darker pale amber appearance. Some very nice dirty lacing. Aromas of hops and lighter malts. A bit of grains in the mix. Flavours are well balanced between the hops and malts. Has a certain sweetness to it as well. Pretty darn good addition to the mixer packs and would be nice for a regular outing.

Light orange, clear. White head. Draft pour at Mill Street brewery in Toronto, part of a flight. Honey flavor. Run of the mill Pilsner but pleasant. Draft pour at Mill Street brewery in Toronto, part of a flight.

[5361-20130518] 341mL bottle. Lightly toasted spices and grains aroma. Clear, bright orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Toasted grains and lightly bittered citrus rind flavour. Medium body. Interesting enough. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

Drinkable session lager. Pours golden clear with ok head and lacing. Smells of saaz hops. Czech flavour really comes through in this one. Elevated it above average for style. Bitter crisp finish. Some booze and malt in aroma. Not bad actually. On tap at new beer hall.

2013-05-18. Crisp dark yellow body, small off-white head. 3+ Modest aroma, lightly grassy hops, mild lightly grainy malt character. 6+ Flavour is similar, lightly grassy hops, sweet biscuity pale malt, lighty grainy accents. 6+ Very smooth average plus body has soft carbonation. 3++ Decent but not really to my own taste. Mill Street 10th Anniversary Sampler Pack

February 15, 2013

Beer pours a clear gold colour with a thin white ring for a head. Aroma is grains and cereal. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy, with mild carbonation. Flavour is grainy malt, with a bitter finish, Quite easy to drink.

gramity (1684) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 7, 2013
olden beer with decent white head. Floral and fruity aroma with peppery tones. Tastes the same as it smells. Lots of rich malt, hop, and grain flavours. Not a true double; need more bite. But a really good beer which I quite enjoyed

HeistAlmighty (1156) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - APR 26, 2013
341ml bottle. Looks like a semi-filtered, darker pils, moderate head. Aroma is apple, noble hops, a hint of skunk. Earthy and herbal hops, sweet malt. Overall, reminds me of a cross between malt liquor and pilsner.

Strangebrewer (1353) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - APR 23, 2013
bottle. Poured clear gold with a creamy off-white head. Light grassy hop aroma. Medium body with a somewhat thick mouthfeel, dry metallic finish. Bready malt flavour but not overly hoppy, alcohol comes through.
