On tap at the Grad Club. Ruby brown, with a decent head. Simple but effective hops and caramel malt in the aroma. Bread, malt, and a slight grassy hop touch, with caramel and chocolate undertones. Smooth finish, though a little sticky and could use some bitterness. Quality brew. pootzboy (1716) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 14, 2009
On tap from the MS pub:
Tapped a clear amber-orange with a decent cap.
Flavor profile: Pretty much a replica of the way it smells...a nice bready-caramel chew of malt blalanced well with a grassy-herbal hop profile...light bitter finish...not the intense bittering of a Brit ESB but very approachable and sessionable. On tap at the brewpub. The color is amber with a thin beige head. The taste is of hops with some sweetness of fruits. Some malt but not to much. It has a nice bitter finish. chops (60) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 9, 2009
On tap from the Mill Street Brewpub. Nice colors but not the intense aromas and flavors I was expecting. Rcr84 (33) - CANADA - OCT 10, 2008

Amber-red colour. Some caramel nose. Some breadcrust malts and herbal hops on the palate. Earthy, caramelly taste. Well-balanced with a slight herbal hop note. Earthy finish. Nice bitter. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 18, 2008
at brewpub. Deep amber, clear, some head and scattered lacing. Diacetyl in nose. Caramel malts. Earthy English aromas. Earthy with wood and stone flavors. Quaffable. Sweetish. Not bad. Is quaffable. Imagine it would be very good if it were cask-conditioned. hopson (635) - Williamsville, New York, USA - JUL 21, 2008
draft at brewery. Nicely done. earthy sharp hops dominate at first, and without a strong bitterness, keep on going as you drink the beer. Enjoyable. gilvanblight (825) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2008
on Cask at the brewpub. Unfiltered hazy pour. Rust coloured. Fruity scent with a touch of nuts. Odd mouth. Watery at first then a rush of flavour that reminded me of iced tea. Combination of nuts, spice, malts and bitterness. Rediculously easy to drink. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 22, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a slightly off-white head. Has a caramel toffee aroma with a slight bit of acetone. Flavor is nice: sweet maltiness and a tart citrus-like finish of bitterness.
