A remarkable wheat beer infused with a blend of Orange Pekeo and Earl Grey teas. It pours a light amber colour and will charm you with its sublime tea flavour and subtle lemon twist. A trully Canadian take on one of Europe’s newest beer styles.

From can, poured a fairly average amount of foamy head and goes away not long after and leaves a thin layer. Has a pretty cloudy, hazy amber appearance. Aromas of breads, toast, mild citrus, moslty lemon and a bit of spices. Flavours are comprised of a sweet and bitter lemon tang base along with the light tea flavour, most likely orange pekoe. Also some notes of resin type hops and spices with hints of breads, grains and nuts. Medium bodied with a slick creamy mouthfeel. Somewhat bitter and also has that tangy aftertaste. Pretty good light, easy drinking beer. Perfect in the summer.

Appearance- Pours a foggy honey colour with a finger width of foamy white dense head. Smell- Citrus/lemon, hint of orange pekoe tea aroma, wheat. Taste- Predominately wheat flavours with a touch of the orange pekoe playing a supporting role. Subtle hint of lemon and mild sweetness. Mouthfeel- Light to medium bodied with light carbonation. Very smooth. Overall- A great refreshing beer for summer.

Sample from can as part of autumn big clean up. Aroma: huge tea aroma mixed with lemon and flowers. App: cloudy orange, small white head leaving good lacing. Taste and palate: light body, soft carbonation, light sweetness, lemony, subtle bitter finish. Overall: a sample will be enough. I guess this beer is meant for those that don’t like beer and enjoy tea a lot. It’s not that bad but it’s really not my cup of tea.

Draft - Lemon and iced tea. Clear gold with a rich white head. Some peppery teal leaf notes and malts with some old lemon. Not good.

Derfor noe tam. Noe biitter avslutning.

Vighals (3987) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - MAY 14, 2016
Lett tåkete brun med fingerhøyt hvitt skum. Lukter eple, sitron og trevirke. Lett. Mer sitron i smak enn i lukt. Lett sødme, mot honning og maltekstrakt. Lett, kortbitterhet avslutning.

Absolutely terrible. Like run off beer from your local neighbourhood dive with a hint of Brisk added as if that would cover up the shameful piss peddled by Mill St.

sulawang (1161) - - MAR 5, 2016
Visual: (seasonal sampler 6-pack). Pours cloudy marmalade orange with a small 1mm head, fast and slow bubbles here and there. Nose: faint earl grey, barley malt (lvl-3)-pungency Attack: crisp, background subdued sourness Mid-palate: (lvl-4-sweetness), black tea, bergamot oil, lemon, wheat malt, tangy Finish: soft wheat malt roughness, partially thin, cane sugar barley malt sweetness. Summary: Tea and beer, a perfect match for me! This is my first tea infused beer and I’m quite liking the style. Although this particular tea beer doesn’t have extraordinary depth or length, the transitions are smooth and it has decent complexity.
