Strange Brew (157) - Toronto, Ontario, - DEC 16, 2003
Came in 650ml bottle from the brewery. Amber colour, not much head. Light malty aroma with a slightly more roasted flavour. Full-bodied, but fairly easygoing. Goes down smooth. I enjoyed it.

Bonne petite Oktoberfest! Cheers!

pour golden yellow white head. Aroma cereal grain, sweet, a little spicy, grassy. Taste sweet, cereal grain, nice malt, oats, spice possibly rye, light honey, grassy. Light to medium crisp body fizzy carbonation. Overall nice easy drinker quite refreshing.

Sells of hops. Pours a deep golden colour. Little head. Taste is a little on the hoppy side. More then I was expecting. Bad aftertaste. Good amount of carbonation. Overall I was glad I tried this one. Will probably not purchase again. Just too hoppy for my liking. MB

355ml bottle into English pint. Pours golden/orange with a half-inch of pillowy white head, looks like some fairly lively carbonation. Nose is slightly earthy, a bit of caramel, nothing fancy. Bit of caramel sweetness; dry, slightly bitter finish. Kinda sticky on the palate.

Soft cane sugar aroma and small head on a clear copper body. Kind of a candyish nut flavour and dry finish. Not bad at all.

Draft at Pearson International. Copper in colour with medium carbonation. Basic whole wheat bread dough and caramel aromas. Toasted and caramel malts dominate the palate, with a mineral finish. Medium bodied. Not a total caramel bomb (which is a plus), but definitely lacking in finesse.

355 mL bottle. Pours orange copper with a two finger cap of white head. Nose is biscuity, bread malts, subtle caramel and modest toast. Some gentle earthy, spicy hop tones as well. Moderate body with average carbonation. Very clean. A solid example, quite possibly my favorite Mill St. brew to date.

bottle. Pours a orangey pale golden colour with a thin layer of head, a bit foamy. Lot of carbonation. Good lacing. Aromas of grains, vanilla and malts. Flavour is light roasted malts, a bit yeasty, some hops, not too distinct. Somewhat tingly mouthfeel, a bit sweet. Not too bad.
