COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This continental lager has a deep golden hue, a giant rocky white head and a malty sweet nose. The first taste is sweet, but leads to a dry, hoppy bitter finish in the German Style. Mill Street Organic Pilsner is an excellent accompaniment to food or an excellent thirst quencher on its own.

Bottled. Sweet aroma with hints of toffee. Bronze hue with a frothy head. Malty start which then becomes an intense hoppy bitterness through to the finish. Medium palate. Good pilsner.

Draft - Nice grains with a touch of spice. Clear gold with a decent white head. Lots of grains and noble hop spice. Actually pretty solid.

Draft. Clear light brown body. The aroma is good, the taste sweet. Overall quite balanced for a style thats hard to perfect.

Tap at the brewpub - admittedly, I did not take notes nor pay much attention to the beer. But to accompany a conversation and a burger it was very much alright, albeit a bit boring and non-memorable. Grassy, malty. Pretty nice lingering bitterness. Would probably like it more if unfiltered.

First pint from a new keg (they had to change keg, so had to wait haha)Golden appearance. Barely any head. Good lacing. Aromas are escaping me at the moment, would say the hops are there, some grains. Some malts in flavour with weak spices, hints of cinnamon. Slight watery mouthfeel. Not much aftertaste. Pretty good on a hot day.

Despite the relatively mild colour of this beer, the bitterness of the hops was quite surprising. Althoug this may be an often enjoyed beer, it was not a personal favourite

Pours clear deep gold with one finger of white head diminishing gradually to a thin skim, minimal lacing. (3/5) Nose is pale bready malt, light grassy hops. (6/10) Taste is mild sweet, moderate bitter. (6/10) Light body, moderate carbonation, long bitter finish. (3/5) Bottom of the barrel - last one here, on tap or in bottles, that I havent tried. A fairly authentic, German-tasting pilsener. Which is to say, fairly boring. Although its a little dark for the style, which is fine by me, thats not really enough to rescue it from the doldrums of mediocrity. (10/20)

Bu en bouteille de 33cl, bire ultra raffraichissante mais qui na rien de vraiment exceptionnelle dans mes souvenirs de voyage.

Draft. Golden body with a thin white head. Mild aroma of malt, some hops. Mainly a light malt taste with a mildly bitter finish. Quite refreshing.

Pretty good for style. Nice crisp malt with some evident saaz hops. Pours golden brown, darker than average for style. Slightly fizzy carbonation. Good balance. Finishes a little bitter as well with some light candied malt. On tap at brewpub.

On tap @ Mill Street Pilsner. Pours a clear, dark gold with a small white head. Aroma was burnt toast or grain (my wife and I both at one point thought burnt hair), honey, biscuit. Bottom line, malt dominant. Taste was reflective of aroma in the toasty malts really come through. When coupled with some sweetness it reminds me a little bit of Honey Nut Cheerios. Theres a bit of of alcohol edge that balances the sweetness. Fairly light mouthfeel with a gentle bitter finish. Im going against the grain (pun intended) on this one and will call this a very pleasant beer.
