2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a clear orange with a bright white head that is quite rocky but dissipates quickly.
Smell is of honey, caramel, sweet bread, and a dose of grassy and floral hops.
The taste generally follows the nose being malt forward and too heavy on caramel malts for my taste. Sweet caramel and honey notes lead way to a subdued floral bitterness from the hops.
Mouthfeel is a bit chewy and sticky along with a touch of alcohol bite.
Acquired from trade with Chopz. Poured a frothy white head and has an amber coppery appearance. Aromas of grains, wheats and light roasted malts. Sweet malty flavours with notes of caramel and light toffee taste. Light bodied with faint carbonation. Has a tingling and slight warming sensation on the palate. Seems to have a bit of spices in the mix. Not too bad but pretty average for a Mill Street brew. worldbeertaste (1804) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 26, 2014
Smells of Apple cider, caramel with a bit to cinnamon. Tastes of dark roasted caramel with a bitter applie finish. A bit of hay. Lots of malts. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 19, 2014
[5763-20130904] Bottle. Mild yeasty flowers aroma. Clear, bright orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Toasted yeast flowers in the flavour has a bit if a metallic aftertaste. Medium body. Interesting enough but this was never a favourite style with me. (7/3/6-/3-/12) 3.1 Lubiere (13954) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 8, 2014
A dark golden amber bock with a thin off white head. In aroma, loads of caramel malt with light maple and solvent notes, alcohol, mashed bananas, OK. In mouth, a lighter than expected sweet caramel malt with fruity esters, burned caramel, faint German hops, maple, watery bodied, scotch finale. Bottle from LCBO, prob 9 months old. jercraigs (10556) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 4, 2013
2013-09-04. Crisp golden amber body with a large foamy off-white head that fades. 3+ Sweetish pale malt is biscuity and doughy with alcoholic undercurrent. Flavour is similar, warming alcohol coats the throat, pleasant sweet bready malt in the middle, finishes dry and relatively alcoholic. Smooth average plus palate is moderately carbonated. Okay, it is a simple but decent take on a style that I am not overly fond of. Bottle from GregClow I think.

Pours a clear copper with a thin white head that seems to last a while and average sticky lace. Aroma is caramel, melanoidins, plums and grapes. Taste is toast, melanoidins, smooth alcohol warming, and caramel. Fits the style. tom10101 (6138) - Quebec, CANADA - AUG 8, 2013
Bottle (355 ml). From czar, thanks(?). Clear amber with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is of bread, caramel, malt and light fruity notes. Taste is moderately sweet with bready notes, caramel, light fruits and spices. Weird texture, unpleasant sticky sweetness. Medium body. Overall, this is pretty bad. Too sugary and undrinkable. tomthompson89 (1982) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 27, 2013
Not bad but not good either golden colour. Nose is malty, maple and slightly muted. Mouthfeel is thin, flavour reaches for the style but comes up short

Nice hoppy apple like flavour. Nice Carmel coloured, little head when poured. Not a bad beer, a good lead into more hoppier beers.
