COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like traditional pale ales, Tankhouse Ale has a deep copper-red colour. We use five different malts to produce a complex malty texture. The most dominant character of our Pale Ale is the hop. The spicy Cascades is used to give an assertive hop flavour, aroma and bitterness to our ale. The result is a satisfying and complex-tasting beer. Our brewmaster developed this recipe 20 years ago and it has remained his favorite drink of choice

Tank House is one of those ales that despite tasting ok, I find it to be very similar to beers like Big Rock Traditional. It is a good beer, but I wouldn't add it to my top 20 beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft in Toronto. Lighter, decent malty ale. Clean, simple, tasty sipper. Medium hop, more malty body.

Clear caramel brown in appearance with almost no head. A hint of sweetness but ultimately a little boring.

Draught @ the brewpub in Ottawa. Pours clear dark amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and malt, with citric and estery touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of malt and roast and some touches of yeast and needles. Bitter aftertaste. Decent but not as citric as I had expected.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was faintly malty with notes of toffee, golden fruit and a touch of perfume. The flavor was bitey, bitter and perfumey. Long perfumey finish. Medium body. Meh.

Ambra carico con sottile schiuma. Aroma lievemente erbaceo. Ottimo sapore, col luppolo equilibrato e una leggera spaziatura. Molto beverina, frizzantezza giusta. Ottima apa.

473ml can, via tarde, thanks Asheft. Ambre, col blanc. Arme est malt, caramel moyen, lger bouquet houblonn noble. Palais est malt ple, caramel, houblonn dans un style fleuri et fruit-citronn pour une fine amertume. Malt reste persistant avec une fine couche de grill en fin de bouche.

Really nice beer. One of the better Ontario craft brews Ive had. Brownish amber in colour and aroma is of hop and spice. Taste as well is a nice palate of hop, spice and malt.

Aroma of caramel, malt, and bread. Clear copper-orange colour. Sweet toffee front with notes of coffee, roasted malt, and honey - very rich flavour. Medium body with lively carbonation. Great beer - I would definitely buy qgaon.
