Like traditional pale ales, Tankhouse Ale has a deep copper-red colour. We use five different malts to produce a complex malty texture. The most dominant character of our Pale Ale is the hop. The spicy Cascades is used to give an assertive hop flavour, aroma and bitterness to our ale. The result is a satisfying and complex-tasting beer. Our brewmaster developed this recipe 20 years ago and it has remained his favorite drink of choice

Aroma of caramel, malt, and bread. Clear copper-orange colour. Sweet toffee front with notes of coffee, roasted malt, and honey - very rich flavour. Medium body with lively carbonation. Great beer - I would definitely buy qgaon.

Poured from 330ml bottle in Lake Louise, Alberta. Clear, reddish copper with a 1-finger khaki head and fair lacing. Aroma of caramel, orange and mild nuttiness. Taste of caramel, nuts, orange, toffee and a touch of spiciness. Medium body and medium carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel. A very malty ale with little distinction. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle. Aroma of roasty nuts. Pours a clear red with white head. Has a medium bitter taste. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. A decent ale.

Poured from the tap (note: ordered the Tankenstein which is 7.2% abv and around 70IBU (approx 25 higher than the tank house) but it listed it as an alias to the Tank House). Golden copper with off white head. Fruity candied caramel malt with resiny hops. Dryish finish.

12oz bottle into an English pint. Pours a clear reddish-amber, with light head, some lacing. Nose of caramel, light spiciness; caramel malt richness, some hop and a pleasant, bitter finish. Malty and a bit creamy. Quite good.

Beautiful copper/ Amber color. Smooth. Very smooth, with a beautiful texture. Flavours of sweet toffee, with a light spice on the finish.

Bottle. Milky orange caramel malt and light orange peel aroma. Sweet creamy orange caramel malt and lightly bitter orange peel flavor. Smooth body. Not a typical APA - very malty. Pleasant.

Very enjoyable. Nice smooth malty taste. Lingering finish but it's pleasant. Will drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
