Bottled at RBESG ’07. Amber coloured. Pleasant hoppy aroma of grapefruit. Crisp, bready and light bodied, freshly hoppy and really enjoyable. Finishes with medium bitterness. cgarvieuk (24230) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 5, 2007
Bottle at home ... Thanks to Canadian Dan and his pall for this... Sharp malt fruits with a citrus tang to the nose ... hightly hop fruit for sucg a dark beer ... tad over fizzy ... Lots of juicy hop resins with a little drying graprefruit bitterness... Could do with some more malt character for my palate nonetheless a remarkably drinkable ale. fiulijn (20411) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 11, 2006

Beautiful red-amber color. Too cold, but then some nice caramel and hop aroma, comes out, a bit fruity and resiny. The body is a bit harsh, almost dry, even if not strong enough, with some caramel flavor and a good hopping. Not bad, but also not convincing.
