A beer with bite! There’s a lot of hops crammed into Tankhouse and I find too few beers have that kind of a flavourful punch to them.
A repeater, for sure. cyrenaica (1126) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 13, 2008

I tried this beer on May 13, 2008 at the "Elephant and Castle" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer was poured a translucent reddish-brown colour with a half-inch creamy tan coloured head. The aroma was a combination or raosted malt, and hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with mild carbonation. The flavour was all about the hops. A nice bitter citrusy tang and a very good beer.
Yummy! Great aroma, great taste, coffee finish. Almost perfumed. Love this beer though it’s rather difficult to find at most bars. My Fave. AGoodBrew (17) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 26, 2012
To say this beer is flavorful is a gross understatement! This brew is full of flavors and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The spices come on really strong at first along with the hops, and maple. The strong front can be deceiving at first, but this beer really grows on you as you drink it. It has a semi-light amber color; it looks like maple syrup. I see myself buying a 6 pack of this brew every now and again for a treat. A very decent beer. shorlin (721) - St. John’s, Newfoundland, CANADA - MAR 11, 2013
Very nice deep red, moderate lasting head. As always, a wonderful aroma of Cascade hop. Perfect amount of citrus and floral smell. Taste is just the right combination of bitter, but not stupidly so, and good malty sweetness. Palate is a nice dryish bitter, but perhaps could be a bit more solid overall. Still, as I tell everyone who asks me, this is the beer that everyone should be drinking, all the time, everywhere.

Solid favourite from Mill Street. Can be a bit bitter for some, but hardly overwhelming. Nice spice to it. A winner from Toronto. laurenspoons (12) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 25, 2016
Tankhouse is delicious. This rating is well earned. One of only two I like from Mill Street, but really enjoy this. JoeZasada (317) - Beaumont, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 13, 2011
Bottle. Pours a darker reddish amber with a moderate pearl head; moderate carbonation. Aroma of hops; notes of grass and herbs. Taste is slightly bitter with citrus notes; warms to a slightly sweet maltiness, notes of bread. Finishes with a glassy hop bitterness with malt undertones. Medium-bodied. Very tasty; a great session beer. noctivagans (16) - - SEP 3, 2012
My stand-by session beer. This is a great tasting pale ale. Fairly hoppy for a main-stream beer, with a good level of malty goodness to balance it out. For a widely available, commercially friendly, mainstream beer... you can’t expect much more. About as flavourful as a light beer can be. Solid. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - SEP 10, 2014
For a pale, incredibly malty. And particularly smooth considering it is an ale. Nice!
