Like traditional pale ales, Tankhouse Ale has a deep copper-red colour. We use five different malts to produce a complex malty texture. The most dominant character of our Pale Ale is the hop. The spicy Cascades is used to give an assertive hop flavour, aroma and bitterness to our ale. The result is a satisfying and complex-tasting beer. Our brewmaster developed this recipe 20 years ago and it has remained his favorite drink of choice

Biere brune a 5,2% alc. En 341 ml. Odeur de malt caramélisé. Faible présence de houblon. Excellent goût de caramel brulé. Effervescence moyenne et mousse absente. Léger goût d'epices. Biere surprenante! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I used to quite like this beer, but I get the distinct sense that it isn’t the same beer since InBev took over. It seems much sweeter and blander than I remember. They must be up to their usual tricks of screwing with a recipe, so that it’s a more mainstream beer to compete directly with Rickards Red.

Use to be one of the few beers I could get at a lot pubs that mostly sold macro beers, however there is a lot more craft beers you can get in Toronto now today. Now the brewery was purchased by InBev. Ok beer. Good for the style of beer, malty taste, but not my favourite.

Got this one through the holiday 6-pack. Discovering new beers, yet this one is plain.

Syrupy red, clear, frothy. Aroma is sweet and malty, slightly oaky. Taste is fairly malt-forward, caramel and almond, lots of cherry flavour. Hop flavour is pretty restrained for an APA. Pleasant, but a bit weaker than I remember. I prefer a higher hop-to-malt balance, but if you’re the opposite, then this is a good choice. Good intro pale ale, definitely better than nearly any macro product, but not really competitive among the better Ontario breweries.

Draft. Love this beer, very favourable and easy to drink. Good for all seasons and goes well with pub food.

Tankhouse is delicious. This rating is well earned. One of only two I like from Mill Street, but really enjoy this.

Cerveja com coloração âmbar com espuma de pouca duração. Típica ale com amargor que predomina na boca. Em geral boa.

Sampled from the tap at the Pearson location. Pours a clear deep copper with a near white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has sweet grains with some biscuit and toffee underlying. Flavor is much more biscuit forward with sweet grains backing.

Draft - Malty with light earthy hops. Clear Amber gold with a rich beige white head, Malty earthy almost cocoa notes. Very dark and earthy for an APA.soy sauce,

Pours a deep red color. Some caramel in the aroma. Taste is malty and bitter with some bread and caramel. Pretty good
