On tap at Ottawa Brewpub. Pours a small white foamy head and has a clear golden appearance. Fairly excessive carbonation. Sticky lacing. Aromas of wheats, light hoppy notes. Flavours are mostly wheaty and grainy, light grapefruit hints, a bit fruity as well. Has an astringent mouthfeel. Sort of a soapy like finish on the palate. Not bad. sseb69 (1980) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 23, 2014
Cruchon acheté au Mill Street Ottawa. Couleur jaune or, mousse blanche. Céréales, un peu de houblons, notes de grains, un peu d’amertume, finale légèrement amère, se boit bien, manque de caractère mais bonne. rejtable (2891) - Ontario, CANADA - SEP 4, 2012
This one didn’t do much for me. Poured light orange. Some light pine and citrus notes, but it was all pretty muted. worldbeertaste (1819) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2012
Pale golden with a lacy thin white head. Seems to last. A nice citrus hop smell with a smooth malt and some floral elements. Light smooth creamy body. Crisp taste of malt, soft citrus hops and a light fruity peach yelloow kiwi sweetness. Nice dry finish. Slightly lagerish but nice bitter citrus hop. A dark golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a light smooth malt with pungent citrusy hops, floral and nice. In mouth, a sweet crisp and dry malt with alcohol warmth and loads of citrusy hops, not bad. On cask Ottawa Cask Fest, August 12, 2012.
