Richard Cranium Rye is our interpretation of a Belgian Blond.......with a big twist.....RYE! Our Belgian Rye Ale is light in color and fuller in body.....it contains a unique spiciness from the Rye and special Belgian yeast.

8oz pour at Al’s of Hampden pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose of over ripe bananas, cheap malt, candy, corn notes, bubblegum. Flavor is chewed bubblegum, clove, yeast, malt. Cloyingly sweet finish. Nasty.

Draft. Clear golden yellow color, medium white head. Extra point on appearance for having a cool name. Aroma is slightly funky and floral hay. Taste is floral straw, not really much rye.

Not much of a rye taste, has a smooth body, bit of a caramel taste nothing glamoures

Bottle. Get it? Richard Cranium, Get it? Poured a very lightly hazed golden color. Small head and lacing. Notes were very belgiany, perfume, lavender, not much rye, tons of belgian yeasts, hops, and light sweet malts. Just ok.

Gold with no head. Taste is a bit sweet and slightly tart. I would have like more hops and bit more of the spice of the rye to come through.

FishBizkit (234) - Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 22, 2012
Pours clear dark gold with a wee bit of head. Nose of malts and grains and a bit of hop. Palate is bubbly with earthy malts and a mild balance of hop. Not quite the average rye, but very well done. -Fish!
