1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Tasted like Miller mix with lemon flavored sugar water, which i guess technically is "lemonade" but if you really want a lemon flavored beer good for a leinenkugelssummer shandyinstead
Aroma and flavor is grainy/beery mixed with lemonade, not really anything more. Miller Lite plus lemonade literally. harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - DEC 21, 2013
I even poured this into a wine glass. Served to me at my dentists house. Cheap fuck.
A: neon yellow. No foam. No lace. Hazy like turbid piss. Think uti.
S: lemon and manure. Can’t really say much else. Maybe some cheap glade floral candle.
T: wow. Soooo sweet. Jesus. Like artificial sugar and fake lemon ad some vanilla. Gross.
M: thin and water. Lo carb. Syrupy finish.
O: fetid fecal fluid.
Serving type: bottle

Pours a cloudy grassy yellow color with a thick puffy head of white foam to it. The scent is at least inviting with a grassy grain scent mixed with country time lemonade. A very similar scent to Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy. And for the taste...WOW it’s bad! Very thin texture with a very light lemonade hint and not a trace of beer to be tasted. Seems like a Mike’s Hard Lemonade for kids kind of drink but that’s to be expected when you have a beer that comes in a clear bottle proudly proclaiming how little calories it has while being from a Macro-brewery. If you are thirsty this will go down rather easily but I can see why they are pulling this off the market. brokensail (16648) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 26, 2012
A: This pours a pale but very fluorescent yellow with no head to speak of.
S: Lives up to the billing with a big dose of lemons and sugar--lemonade. Sort of watery with a bit of a dish soap aroma to it.
T: Things are pretty much the same on the palate. Sugar, candied lemon, and water. Very mild soapiness to it. A subtle tartness lingers on the tongue.
M: Light as can be on the palate with surprisingly low carbonation.
O: This really isn’t bad at all. Pretty much just tastes like sweet lemonade.

Bottle. Pours a nasty yellow color. Small white head. Aroma of lemonade. Taste of the same, but weak. Truly this may be the worst beer I’ve ever had. Worst thing is that my wife bought a 12 pack of this last summer and we’ve been slowly pawning them off on people. This was my second try. Probably the only way to drink this is really cold and straight from the bottle. KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - JAN 2, 2012

Pours a weak yellow with a white head. Aroma is sugar-free lemonade sweetened with Sweet-n-Low. Flavor is saccharin powder, lemon powder, and a touch of malt. Water on the tongue with abrasive sand paper chunks. A watery chemical mess.
Drank directly from a clear screw top 12 oz bottle. Looks like a slightly hazy light pale lager. Smell does have a tinge of lemon in there, but it mostly smells like clean lager. OK, first taste is light lager with some lemon in there but I don’t think it approaches the sweetness of common lemonade status. Has almost a soda water body to it. Good sizzle and no ill bitterness detected anywhere; this makes it better than the typical bitter fruit ale. At only 2.8% it hides its alky content well. Overall, not bad and I don’t think it has enough sugar in there to cause a tummy ache. Goes down way too easy. If you are a macro lover, who does not care for impy stouts and ipas, this beer will appeal to you. NeoHippie2 (1074) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 17, 2011
Ok, I see what maybe they were trying to do here but this is not good. I don’t even think this is worthy of being called a fruit beer. What little flavor this beer has is of fake lemon flavor and splenda. It’s like drinking a carbonated flavored water. With the abv being what it is, don’t plan on any kind of buzz showing up either. Just plain bad. cmc619 (501) - California, USA - SEP 26, 2011
Poured into Maudite glass, just to see. Head actually decent, but deterioration rate is high. Yellow-gold, medium-hazy. Flavor is like Lemonheads candy without any of the sour dust--it’s just the sweet, sugary lemon fakeness. This is actually hard to keep drinking, especially as it warms up. I guess ice cold, you could get away with it, but I’d much prefer a Mike’s Hard, Smirnoff, or ideally, a real radler. Glad they discontinued this one.
