Drank directly from a clear screw top 12 oz bottle. Looks like a slightly hazy light pale lager. Smell does have a tinge of lemon in there, but it mostly smells like clean lager. OK, first taste is light lager with some lemon in there but I don’t think it approaches the sweetness of common lemonade status. Has almost a soda water body to it. Good sizzle and no ill bitterness detected anywhere; this makes it better than the typical bitter fruit ale. At only 2.8% it hides its alky content well. Overall, not bad and I don’t think it has enough sugar in there to cause a tummy ache. Goes down way too easy. If you are a macro lover, who does not care for impy stouts and ipas, this beer will appeal to you. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 26, 2012
A: This pours a pale but very fluorescent yellow with no head to speak of.
S: Lives up to the billing with a big dose of lemons and sugar--lemonade. Sort of watery with a bit of a dish soap aroma to it.
T: Things are pretty much the same on the palate. Sugar, candied lemon, and water. Very mild soapiness to it. A subtle tartness lingers on the tongue.
M: Light as can be on the palate with surprisingly low carbonation.
O: This really isn’t bad at all. Pretty much just tastes like sweet lemonade. dwyerpg (6214) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 15, 2011
Why drink this? Well, maybe you do want to get drunk off of lemonade, which this tastes like very sweet lemonade. wlajwl (6867) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - APR 13, 2017
Aroma and flavor is grainy/beery mixed with lemonade, not really anything more. Miller Lite plus lemonade literally. Lemke10 (981) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Pours a cloudy grassy yellow color with a thick puffy head of white foam to it. The scent is at least inviting with a grassy grain scent mixed with country time lemonade. A very similar scent to Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy. And for the taste...WOW it’s bad! Very thin texture with a very light lemonade hint and not a trace of beer to be tasted. Seems like a Mike’s Hard Lemonade for kids kind of drink but that’s to be expected when you have a beer that comes in a clear bottle proudly proclaiming how little calories it has while being from a Macro-brewery. If you are thirsty this will go down rather easily but I can see why they are pulling this off the market.

This beer is pretty bad but still much better than some of its competitors. I would take this over any of the beers with lime any day. PorterPounder (8068) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 17, 2011
Tallahassee, Fl - Publix Supermarket, 12 oz bottle. Lifeless, murky dark golden pour. Lemonheads candy aroma, a hint of limeade. Flavor is tangy and lemony but artificial. Pick up some limeade flavor in there as well. Easy drinking, but not quite as refreshing as I thought it might be. Mouthfeel is a bit dry and harsh. Will make a decent thirst quencher while doing yardwork this summer - I hope so - I bought a whole 12-pak! poisoneddwarf (2563) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - JUL 29, 2011
12 oz bottle into flute. Expired on July 18. Hopefully that won’t detract from the quality of this fine fine brew. Pours a hazy lemonade-yellow hue with a nice-sized crackling white head with good retention; collapses into a collar and blanket; even leaves some lace! Aroma consists of lemons, corn, a whiff of vomit. Taste is all sweet and sugary, grainy. Tastes like a diet Sprite with a faint beery undertone. Highly carbonated and I can still taste that sucralose, dammit. There’s no way I could drink more than one of these. What am I going to do with the rest of this 12-pack? Free beer up for grabs! Anybody? Hello, anybody out there? Hello? Is this thing on? bluejacket74 (1993) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - MAY 9, 2011
Saw this on the singles shelf at Liquor Barn, figured I’d give it a try since I’m pretty sure I will never buy a 6 pack of it. 12 ounce bottle, best by date of July 25, 2011 printed on the bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy straw gold color with a small white head that went away quickly. Small bit of lacing left on the glass. The brew smells like lemon candy, but not fresh lemons or lemonade. Doesn’t smell bad, but it doesn’t smell good either. However, the taste is not good at all. It tastes like bad watery diet lemon soda with a weird diet cola-like bittersweet aftertaste. Mouthfeel/body is light, it’s somewhat watery and is well carbonated. It’s also a bit coating. I felt like I was drinking a really bad diet cola and not a beer. I can’t imagine this product staying on the market very long, I don’t think even hardcore BMC light beer drinkers would enjoy this very much. I finished my bottle, but I can’t say I liked it. Bottle sample at KFOA. Poured hazy yellow color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate lemon tange aroma. Light to medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet lemonade flavor with medium sweet finish of short duration. This beer did not meet my expectations.
