I’m almost always in the mood to live the High Life. But, on rare occasions, I like to take it down a notch - to the Pretty High Life, if you will. On such occasions, I reach for Miller High Life Light. It’s a light (duh) brew, in body, color, and taste. As far as lights go, High Life Light is quite good. Light straw colour. No particular aroma. Light creamed corn taste. No bitterness. No finish. Not offensive but very, very lacking. rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2008
Why do I even bother to try this? brokensail (16678) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 1, 2011
If I try really hard I might be able to find more than water. But when I do, I wish I never had tried....
A: Pours a perfect yellow color with a big white head that has surprising retention. imdownthepub (15396) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2011
S: Smells pretty bland. Definitely some cooked corn, a bit of grain, and sweetness. Sort of watered down. Maybe a touch of rice on the nose.
T: Things are pretty much the same on the flavor. Corn and grain provide the flavor and there’s really no hops or anything else. A lot of carbonation, though.
M: Light in body with a very high carbonation. It’s sort of pleasing at first, but it makes the beer hard to drink in larger quantities.
D: This is a pretty innocuous light lager. It tastes okay and there’s nothing really wrong with it other than a lack of real substantial flavors.
Bottled, 355ml from Sandra. Pale yellow with fizzed white head. Doesn’t taste that much like beer, some maltiness perhaps with a lemonade note. Really quite poor.

Bottle. Light color, small head, light aroma, light body with a watery texture. Cold wet alcohol with no character. At best, I drank it with a freind. Drake (14107) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 1, 2014
12 ounce bottle from a Kroger. I did a little bit of beer pack hacking for a Secret Santa thing at work, and so I have six of these left over. Pours a clear very pale yellow color with a thin fizzy white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of corn and grain. The taste is husky grains, corn and a grassy finish. Thin bodied, watery. Meh. Nothing there, nothing offensive. crossovert (14006) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 8, 2011
I did a side-by-side with perrier, the perrier won on the fact that it tasted more like water, High life was like corn flavored water, perrier def a better option if you are looking for a low-level mineral water. slowrunner77 (12998) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 5, 2014
some people actually used the word inoffensive to describe this shyte. Really?!!! MHL is one of the worst beers ever...and this is the watered down version. Maybe that’s actually better, but man, this is foul. I haven’t had this too recently, just had forgotten to "rate" it. It...uh...sucks." jcwattsrugger (12550) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - AUG 21, 2008
12oz bottle-pours a white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is grain/corn/cardboard/bread. Taste is grain/corn/cardboard/bread, secondary (saaz?) hops. An OK, light body beer. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for picking this out.
