Egads! Have I not rated Miller High Life?!?! Ive certainly bought my share of Miller! $2.19 for 4 tallboys down at the Petro station! This is lawnmower beer at its pinnacle! It has a certain funk to it, and a flavor profile thats laden with corn and adjuncts. Not particularly hoppy, and clings to the palate. I use this frequently for marinade. For some reason, I have a soft spot for MHL...

An absolutley foul chemical revolting grassy gassy assy aroma. Every grainy smell that you can imagine that should not be in a beers aroma wafted from this taster. I wanted to find something in here to like...after all I rate Bud, Pabst and other American Standards relatively high (1.7ish), but not this one.

Eh. Not too much flavor, a little too much carbonation. But its cheap and palatable. MGD has more taste and heft to it

In high school (20 years ago) this was the shit. Quart bottles from the drive-in liquor store. Worthless nowadays.

*Re-Rate* - This brew pours from the bottle a pale sparkling gold. The generous white frothy head is on the edge of creamy. The head is full lasting (I had over an inch of head at the bottom of the glass when finished) and has good lacing. The faint nose is very neutral with hints of caramel, flowers, pine and wet paper. The flavor is light, crisp and sweet (very pilsenerish) but lacks depth. The finish is average and flowery. The brew is light of body with a lively oily texture and feels clean at the finish. This is a highly quaffable brew for someone on a budget. I am doing a head to head between this and Budweiser today. *Original rating 2/8/02: 3-2-5-2-7; 1.9 (from memory)*I was weaned on this stuff. I have many childhood memories of family get-togethers watching the drunken derelict dagos stagger around with a can of either this, or Pabst Blue Ribbon in their hands. I have a much easier time choking this down than Bud.
