Sampled from the tap at 2011 FOBAB. Poured a clear gold with a near white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of sour apricot which was balanced by a nice funk note. Miller valley apricot consumed at 2011 FOBAB... Pours a clear golden brown with a soapy white head... Aroma has oaky vanilla and softer butter notes. Not too much apricot... Flavors are somewhat sweet with a nice degree of sour.
Enhanced with a lighter apricot note, perhaps apple. Not as fruit forward as ac’s brew. Lighter bodied with a slight earthy finish.

Sampled on tap at FoBAB 2011 (Chicago, IL). Pours a touch hazed glowing pour, nice fire and frothy offwhite bigger head laces well. Aromas are touches of flaked wheat, lactic acid, and apricots. Some gentle straw and barnyard funk, touches of oak tannins. Initial is medium bodied offering fruity apricot up front, bread, and cereal grains fairly quickly moving into brett and sourness in the middle. Finish shows lingering brett, oak, sour apricots and a touch of lactic presence. Simple, tasty. Some more age could really sour this up, but overall it’s very drinkable and pleasant.
