Whee, a Sri Lankan malt liquor. Yay! Poured a nice shiny full golden bodey with a small white head, somewhat lasting. Oily nose, alcohol. Sweetish alcoholic taste, some malt. Just as I expected it to be.

Can share at Chriso’s Saturday Shindig as ’Sando Power’, 8.8%. Thanks! Now this has some manly branding. Clear orange, very lightly sparkling, small foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is sweetened apple, crackers with some chutney. Body is light, tingly carbonation frothy. Taste is apple on crackers, pale malt sugars, spicy booze isn’t off-putting. Good for style. (2.7)

Can shared at the chriso and Ruth pre GBBF Shindig 2016 - London. Day 1. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, white head. The nose holds pale grains, light citrus, cereal. Medium sweet flavour with notes of sugary pale bread, hay. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, with further cereal, light alcohol warmth. Not bad.

The great ChrisO pre GBBF gathering. Can. Bright clear paleish gold beer. Fluffy pale cream colour head. Light but very sweet malts, a touch of honey. Sweet floral mid, candy fruits. Light finish brings modest spice. Yeah it’s pretty sweet but it’s not as bad as the ratings it’s getting.

Can @ Chriso pre-GBBF Shindig 2016. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty spicy grainy weak caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty grainy finish.

Pre-GBBF 2016 tasting at Chris&Ruth’s, Day-1. It pours a clean golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet grainy starchy. Taste is also sweet with more starch, corn and grain. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, not very good

Chris and Ruth’s Shindig 2016, Saturday. Clear golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Malty bready aroma, caramel, hay notes, biscuits. Malty papery flavor, boozy, some fruits and cardboard. Could have been worse.
