diabel (1727) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - SEP 16, 2017
Hazy orange body. White creamy head. Light caramel aroma. Moderately bitter beer. Quite nice.

SylvainCFC (386) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUN 19, 2017

Icedwarf (1928) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - OCT 2, 2016

VDuquerroux (2040) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - JUL 24, 2016
Bottle, 33cL. Home.A golden orange beer with a medium white head ; medium retention. Resin, flower, fruits (red berries, citrus), biscuit, light caramel. Medium sugary sweet, medium dry bitter ; short fresh episodes. Medium heavy body, average oily texture, soft carbonation, bittersweet lasting finish, light warming. Overall, enjoyable fruity resinous belgian ale ; lack of carbonation ; a bit heavy (sugary) ; hard to finish through this hot summer day.

Alengrin (6086) - BELGIUM - JUL 13, 2016
Spelt beer, as there are many in Wallonia these days ever since Silenrieux started the trend in the nineties, with rocky, very thick, irregular, lacing, egg-white head and hazy peach blonde robe with ’dirty pinkish’ hue, turning more ochre with deposit, disturbed by a very fierce whirl of bubbles. Aroma of peach, straw, wet cardboard, dried flowers, baked banana, old bread crust, soap, cloves, sweetbread, dried lemon peel, apricot. Fruity onset with hints of peach, gooseberry and light banana, expectedly high effervescence stinging on the tongue but calming down after a while, supple bready maltiness with honeyish touch, lingering esters and a dryish, ’dimly’ sourish graininess representing the spelt, lightly earthy finish with mild bitterishness and yeasty phenols retronasally, bit grassy, but the honeyish sweet touch remains. Refreshing, balanced and technically correct, but perhaps not the most exciting Millevertus beer, or spelt beer, I had so far.

Hopverdju (1762) - BELGIUM - JUN 30, 2016
Amberkleurig met weinig wit schuim. Geur: mout, granen, weinig anders. Smaak: zoetig, kandij. Goede koolzuurprikkel.

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2016 Copper most body, small stable head. Cheesy year, apricot marmalade, sweet cake. Nice sweet taste, fulfilling and especially on a rainy day. Nice low carbonation, fitting the style. Like it, classic bet but will done. This brewer doesn?t make great blond beers but his amber ones are really nice so far! (33cl bottle from the brewery)

JefVerstraete (3873) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - APR 29, 2016
Bottle from LDW, Eke. Hazy amber apple juice colour, white foam. Nose of caramel, metal, spices and citrus. Reminds me a bit of a special belge. Bitter and sweet. Strange blend. Ok.
