kraddel (9130) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 7, 2016
Pours clear darkblonde to amber. Small white head. Intense floral scent, bit earthy-green, very remote bitter touch as well. Taste is sharp, really floral. i’d be tempted to say soapy, but it’s really not. think of the same fruityness, intense freshness, aromatic features, but not the chemical sides. very perfumy ! mild, but sharp bitter backbone. Really elegant drink. Not what i look for in a beer, really, but I can see this having succes with a large crowd as a craftbeer.

330ml Bottle - Hazy amber in colour. Perfumed and spicy aroma with notes of pot pourri , ginger, nutmeg and soap. Spicy, fruity and tangy taste with peach, passion fruit, ginger and nutmeg. Interesting and whilst I am aware that word can sometimes be a euphemism for something more negative, I mean it in a positive and constructive way. Reminds me of an alcoholic and slightly spicy version of exotic fanta.

15/VIII/14 - 33cl bottle @ home - BBE: 2015 (2014-911) Thanks to Jerre for picking this one up!

GUSHER ALERT!!!

Clear pinkish orange beer, small aery off-white head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: of, weird sourish, sweet, something chemical. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish start, bit off, sweet touch, sugary, is that passion fruit? Candy. Aftertaste: weird bitterness, chemical touch, bit sour, some tannins, strange. Strange would be the keyword here, yes.

Benzai (16751) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 16, 2014
Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Very hazy yellow orange color, average sized quickly diminishing off-white head. Smell and taste dishwasher water, soapy, weird fruitiness, weird candy influences. Don’t like it at all.

Een fruitbier dat nu eens niets natuurlijks van smaak heeft, artificieel tot en met.

Oranje goudkleur, weinig schuim. Ruikt naar mout en fruitig, fris. Smaakt vreemd, zuur, zoet, niet in balans.

Smell fruity, flowery. Aroma perfumey, flowery, cherry, woody. Finish sweet cherry, fruity, flowery
