Cask, Occasional;
A very pale and hoppy ale. Brewed using only the Chinook hop, mellow bitters make way for a distinctive citrus aroma.

Towey1989 (3341) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2017
Cask at Den Engel, Leek. A clear straw colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, slight apple, a little pale malt and subtle spicy hops. Taste of lemon, some apple, slight pale malts, a hint of liquorice and subtle spicy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A short, dry, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Soft citrus but weird spicy hop notes. Some apple but not offputting. Ok.

minutemat (6133) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2016
Cask @ The Salopian, Shrewsbury. Pours clearish gold, white head. Aroma is fruity, taste is jammy apricot and not what I’d consider typifies the Chinook hop, but it’s nice enough.

BlackHaddock (7762) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2015
25th April 2015: gravity poured half-pint at a beer festival in the Duke of York, Lichfield. Another citrusy blonde, fed up with them. This was not as bad as some, but I would like brewers to move on now and leave this fad behind. Scored objectively.

[email protected] Victoria, Birmingham B1. Pale with a white head. Hoppy with citrus and floral notes. Pleasant, and easy drinking without being exceptional.

niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2015
On cask at hopinn, Newcastle under Lyme. Light golden with a bright white head. Easy drinking pale, nothing particularly showstopping to make it stand out from 100s of other golden ales.
