Cask, Occasional;
A very pale and hoppy ale. Brewed using only the Chinook hop, mellow bitters make way for a distinctive citrus aroma.

UPDATED: JUL 11, 2013 Cask. Thick white head, retains good lacework down the glass. Pale, yellowish body. Dry aroma. Palate modestly full. Tastes of light citrussy fruits, particularly grapefruit. Very nice pint indeed.

Cask, Slug & Lettuce, Leicester. Hazy golden with a white head. Aromas are grain with lemon and grassy notes. Light grapefruit with some woody pine. Flavours are light grapefruit with dry biscuit. Peppery with grape juice and a dry aftertaste.

[email protected] Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, wooden and rather nectary with some citrusy notes as well. Flavour is sweet malts, citrus, some floral, herbal and grassy notes.

Cask at GBBF 2012. Pale golden ale with thin foam. Very dry, austere tasting bitter with mouth puckering long floral hop finish. Well balanced,easy to drink, excellent.

Cask. Light straw coloured ale with a thin white fluff. Gorgeous sweet smell of mango, pineapple, grapefruit. In the mouth, more tropical fruit flavour. There's a nice sweet malt helping balance against the bitter too. Finish is a nice mild bitter and then bitters linger on the palate. Top notch.

Can’t quite put my finger on the aroma. Some lemon and other citrus fruits,, a bit musky. Taste is similar with biscuity malt coming through. Quite dry. Ok beer.

Sample at the Black Eagle, Birmingham. Golden pour with white head. Unfortunate bad aroma of sick. Nicer flavour with citrus, tropical fruit, wheat and yeast. Not bad but shame about the smell

Half pint shared, on tap at black eagle, Birmingham. Good creamy white head. Slightly hazy blind pour. Nice.

[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Blonde beer with a great white head. Aroma of sweet peach and pineapple. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy - almost syrupy. Extremely fruity on the palate - passion fruit and peach. Very nice indeed [07042012] (similar review to Benj, but done independently!)

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Well, this beer came out of nowhere. Pours clear yellow with a fine, white foam head. Perfect golden ale aroma: crispy straw, light citrus and faint, doughy bread. Medium sweet flavor, lemon zest and rind, fresh straw, light grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Crisp finish with light, tangy citrus, lemon, straw and hay, lasting grassy bitterness. An exceptional golden ale.
