Bottle courtesy of HuskerTan, thanks! Hazy pale straw color, bright thin white head. Aroma is very lemony. Taste is lightly bitter and peppery citrus. Decent.

12 oz bottle. A. From Iowa. Thanks go to John M.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Malt and fish soup in the aroma. The flavour is malt and mild hoppy bitterness. After two very good Millstream brews (Hefeweissen/Iowa Pale Ale) this one is quite cheap and disappointing.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates quickly and nearly completely. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains with a bit of grassy hops with a hint of cookie. Flavor is more balanced with sweet grains and crisp grassy hops with a bit of a sweet finish.

On tap @ Millstream. Light yellow appearance with a white head. Light German hoppy, lager nose. Light grainy malty flavor on mild German hops. Easy drinking but not all that exciting of flavor.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bottle. Wow - this is outstanding for this style of beer. Buttery grain, crisp and clean, no real flaws in this. Well done.

Bottle from Brennans. Poured clear straw golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweeter lemon notes over honey and bready malts (all of it was sweet, actually).. soft overall and very approachable. The flavor found an initial hit of tart lemon, but after that it was all sweet again.. honey led with bready notes and other pale malts backing.. plenty of sweetness plus a twist of lemon on the finish.. this flowed a lot like a palindrome. Lighter-bodied and sweet on the palate with decent movement across the palate.. not great on any facet of the drink, but it was remarkably drinkable.

Tastes and aroma is similar to a helles/pilsner hybrid, with the bread flavor mixed with the pilsner dryness. A good pilsner overall, Millstream has been making some good beers as of late.

12oz bottle. Slightly hazy yellow-tan. Thin, soapy head. Mild aroma, some fresh lemon and doughy malt. A pretty nice Pilsner, somewhat yeasty medium body. Solid noble hops really capture the essence of the style. Not quite World Class, but a well executed offering.

Straw color with a fluffy, wispy white head. Aromas of fresh cut weeds, sumac and just a hint of pale malt. Light citrus and pale malt flavors. Not a crisp clean hop profile. 12/12

Picked up single 12-oz bottle from Brennans Country Farm Market in Brookfield, WI and one from the brewery in Amana, Iowa. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a fine film and white ring. Aroma of light bread malt, flowery and citrus hops, and some light fruit. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation, semi-sweet fruity, bready malt and a mild bitterness. Finish is semi-sweet at first, then a lingering mild bitterness and a herbal aftertaste. Quite identical to the regular Millstream Pilsner but with some sharper hop bitterness.
