A- Candy corn, caramel, marshmallow, cocoa.
A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, light brown head.
T- Marshmallow, cocoa, caramel, slightly sweet.
P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish.
O- What an odd beer. I figured it would be loaded with pumpkin pie spice and have a dry malty base. Nope. Smells like liquid marshmallow peeps and candy corn. A legit Halloween beer. Some caramel too. Tastes about like it smells. Odd, but really good actually.

Bottle into glass, shared with pals at club w... pitch black pour with kacki head, aroma is a sugary pumpkin with a sweet fruit finish, this stuf is awesome! Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Richmond 19th. Medium to dark brown. Aroma of chocolate and pumpkin. Lots of chocolate in the nose. Flavor is tons of chocolate, a faint hint of pepsin. Vanilla too. Really quite nice. Not sure I would have detected pumpkin on the aroma if there hadn’t been a big orange one on the label here. HopTsing (575) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - JAN 19, 2013
From the bottle poured a dark brown brew with a tan head. Wonderful aromas of chocolate, malt, sweet tobacco. Flavors of chocolate, lightly coffeed. Medium bodied and a bit dry. Guerde (1297) - Leuven, BELGIUM - AUG 29, 2012
(bottle) This seemed like an interesting sounding beer, so I decided to give it a try. Pours almost jet black with a little bit of light brown around the edges and a very thin and splotchy tan head. No lacing. The aroma is a blast of vanilla, pureed pumpkin (Libby’s canned), coconut, and assorted pie spice. Nothing really "stouty" to speak of, although it does smell like chocolate chip muffins for some reason. The flavor is even more intense than the aroma, with a huge dose of semi-sweet chocolate chips that just lingers on right through the finish. An almost equally strong wallop of vanilla and shredded coconut flies right in along with the chocolate. Little tiny kicks of spice, but it’s all pretty low-key. Not really much pumpkin to speak of here, but there’s just a tad on the finish. This almost tastes barrel-aged in a way which ratchets up the .rar quotient. The mouthfeel is medium to full and the carbonation is appropriate. This is an incredibly sweet beer, and most of the time I hate these kinds of creations, but for some odd reason I really dig this. I liken this to drinking a liquid cookie, so if you’re in the mood for a dessert in the form of a liquid rather than a solid, give this semi-sweet chocolate chip pumpkin composition a try.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2012 Opaque black although it has a slight red hue around the bottom,if you try looking for it. Mild creamy head, looks thick.
Smell is absoulutey pumpkin with vanilla, maybe a bit musty pumpkin but its nice not alot of other spice going on but it has some faint cocolate in the background letting you know it might still be a stout.
Taste is very smooth silky with malty pumkin mild mellow chocolate, the pumpkin is pronounced earthy/musty,this has rich big silky body, not cloyinly sweet. It has a very nice mellow roasty smooth slight coffee finish.
Although I dont dig artificial, this is pretty nice and I just taste alot of earthy/musty real pumpkin in a good stout. There is some ashy tobacco/coffee finish. Somewhat sweet but balanced well. This is a pretty nicely complex beer overall, there is alot going on in all the right places. I dig this and its my first pumpkin stout, what a surprise to find this not to mention the only 4 pack on the shelf. I consider myself lucky. This is tastey. It kind of reminds me of a nice smelling vanilla cigar. I dont smoke but it leaves you with this.I will enjoy having 3 more over the fall. obguthr (6349) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Rich chocolate syrup nose. Clear brown, medium yellow head. Chocolate flavor, leaning toward the darker varieties. Nsanders (1144) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - SEP 22, 2013
Tap at Happy Gnome. Near black with a tan head. Chocolate, malty, light pumpkin, cinnamon and milk. Dryly sweet. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Tasted really good at first, but has a lingering dry chocolate flavor that’s not as great. ibrubeer (383) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - OCT 18, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2016 12 oz bottle. Opaque black, with a beige head that dissipates quickly. Flavor is light pumpkin pie spice, almost a little vegetal. Not a lot of flavor, but not bad. Full bodied, lowly carbonated. Overall, a pretty good seasonal stout. joshmcg000 (388) - Iowa, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Pours black with slight amount of tan head. Im not getting much aroma. The pumpkin is kind of subtle. Mixed in with a pretty good malt profile, roast, Chocolate, coffee, and a tab bit of vanilla. Slightly creamy texture. Pretty good stuff.
