Black color with a medium head. Dark fruit and a tannic aroma. Roasty flavor. Slightly acrid. A bit tart and dry. Could have been the start of an infection.

Halloween rooftop rating session in the dark. Chicago, IL.
Dark reddish brown color with a small tan head.
Sweet toasted malt, sugary sweetness, pumpkin, spices and mild darkness in the aroma.
The flavor is sweet toasted malt, spices, licorice, cough syrup and pumpkin.
Not my idea of a good imperial stout nor a good pumpkin beer.
Sample from bottle at Hy-Vee Oktoberfest. Poured black, thin tan head. Aroma was chocolate, roasted malt, pumpkin. Taste was bitter, roasted malts, pumpkin, light coffee. robforbes (2237) - Bremerton, Washington, USA - JUL 3, 2016
Pour looks like cola with a thin tan head and some lacing.
Smell is of chocolate, caramel, some milk cream, and a touch of spice.
Taste is strange some spice, a little sweet, milk chocolate, spice, and a ty ouch of caramel. Ends smooth and a little sweet. HuskerTan (2168) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - FEB 19, 2016
A- Candy corn, caramel, marshmallow, cocoa.
A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, light brown head.
T- Marshmallow, cocoa, caramel, slightly sweet.
P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish.
O- What an odd beer. I figured it would be loaded with pumpkin pie spice and have a dry malty base. Nope. Smells like liquid marshmallow peeps and candy corn. A legit Halloween beer. Some caramel too. Tastes about like it smells. Odd, but really good actually.

12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits - Muscatine. Deep, dark brown appearance with a small, lingering, light brown head. Aroma of candy corn, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, nutmeg, marshmallow, light fruity esters and light toffee. Similar flavor, medium plus artificial sweetness with moderate spices and a touch of bitterness. Medium body with a kind of thin feel and soft carbonation. Not awful, but kind of weird overall. This should probably be listed under the Spice/Herb/Vegetable style. gopherfan99 (1775) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 25, 2015
Tap; pours nearly black with a thin tan head; aroma of pumpkin pie spices and chocolate; taste is sweet with chocolate and a hint of pumpkin; finish is pumpkin pie spice and a bit overwhelming; the beer was decent enough until the overwhelming spice finish, which kind of wrecked it deyholla (11496) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 9, 2015

Taste rotten. This is the worst pumpkin beer I have ever had, as well as the worst Stout.
