COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We make this beer several months before the harvest so it can age properly. Millstream Oktoberfest is similar to the our Munich style Schild Brau, but is stronger, maltier, and darker in color. A truly special beer, to celebrate the harvest, an important part of life here in Amana.

MetalNHopHead (2306) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - OCT 1, 2017
Millstream regularly puts out good German-style beer, and there's a lot to like about their Oktoberfest. This lager pours copper-colored. Malty sweet aromas. Nutty biscuit and caramel character. Smooth feel and a clean finish.

Has a lager type texture. Goes down smooth. Full bold strong taste. Similar to SA Okto but lighter, no Carmel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear coppery color with off-white head. Caramel malts, biscuit, and bread on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with malt. Nicely done marzen.

Crisp, clear golden. Concord grape and peanut butter. Flat palate. Really pretty disappointing. (At Summer Beer Dabbler, St. Paul, MN)

This Oktoberfest beer has a full malty body and richness to the flavor. With some sweetness and caramel notes. This brew is a very traditional Maerzen,
