bottle @ John’s Grocery / Iowa City IA --- Hazy medium orange amber with a good ivory head that drops to a light cover, tiny dots of lace. Taste is semi-sweet caramel malt that moves directly through the palate to a finish that is more fizz than it is hops. Either way, it’s enough to balance. Not a big deal, but drinkable. thegreenrooster (4406) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 24, 2006
Pour is a dark red with a small white head. Aroma is lagery with a bit of caramel in there. Flavor is malty but dull all over. Really watery in the end and not a good rep of the style. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - AUG 29, 2011

Short 12oz bottle. Amber color, thin white head. Aroma of toasted grains, mostly fruity esters. Tastes of mixed berries under the malts. Well balanced of light, toasted grains, earthy bitter hops. Very well made. My 2400th USA Rating.<b/>
12 oz bottle pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of the roasted malts and grain. Taste is the malts and nutty with a hint of bitterness.

Golden amber, little head w/ some spots of lace. Typical Millstream character--sweet w/o much in the way of hops. Drinkable but like all their beers there’s nothing special.

A delicious and very true to style old world Vienna. This has a nice malty nose & a good flavor with a well balanced hop bitterness. Very easy drinking (I could drink this all night) It is a very nice deep red color that has a nice head and leaves a good lace. Nuffield (4171) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - MAY 7, 2011
Pretty standard amber; it strikes me that the length of the commercial description may be inversely related to the depth of flavors--I can’t think that this needs this much of a write-up: it’s just your basic "broad appeal" beer. Bottle. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - JUN 28, 2009
Light burnt orange color with very little white head. Aroma of dough and some stale malt. Crisp, albeit watery flavor with some notes of caramel and dough. A bit of Hallertau hops in the finish. Pretty bland and nondescript. Headbanger (3999) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - APR 5, 2014
12oz bottle 9/28/13 (Hy-Vee Cedar Rapids)-Pours a clear amber with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, and grains. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew was pretty tasty. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 8, 2008
Amber with a medium white head. Aroma of light caramel , sweet malts and light German hops. Taste is pretty light too, mostly of sweet caramel with a little hop character to balance it out. A drinkable and forgettable Vienna.
