eh, it looked good. Amber color white head. Flavour had some malt character and hints of caramel but overall it seemed watered down. Nothing really distincitve impressed me about this beer. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 11, 2005
Bottle: Hazy amber, fairly dark, moderate off-white foamy head, fairly nice lacing, very light carbonation.   Combo of malts and grains on the nose.   Slight pellet food as well.   Pale malt start, grainy but not too bad.   Rather boring.   Needs to be maltier and a bit sweeter.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Husky finish, slightly malty.   Not bad, but not very interesting.   Thanks for the freebie Eric! Bottle from ketchepillar- 12 oz bottle- poured transparent darken amber, slightly heavy carbonation, white head quickly bubbled away. Aroma of roasted malt and a touch of sweetness. Hits the mouth with a medium body, the malt tastes a little old, some hops on the finish. Had great potential, but the malt is off to me. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - DEC 24, 2008

Light burnt orange color with very little white head. Aroma of dough and some stale malt. Crisp, albeit watery flavor with some notes of caramel and dough. A bit of Hallertau hops in the finish. Pretty bland and nondescript. dwaggs2 (1297) - Jefferson City, Missouri, USA - JUL 23, 2010
