Garnet color. Head was thin. Nose of brown sugar. Bready for a lager. Nice mouthfeel. Tons of malt. JCapriotti (1379) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 21, 2007
Copper, clear body. Fizzy light tan head. Fruity malt aroma. Flavor is a very "clean" malt taste of caramel and fruits. Light floral hops add a good crispness. Really good amber. Very drinkable. DocLock (10702) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 22, 2007
Bottle from iowaherkeye via Mystery Swap 2.0. Pours clear deep ruby color with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, red wine grapes, toffee. Tastes caramel malty, with some cabernet notes, honey, toffee, and slight hops. Fairly rich palate, with a lot of fruity notes. pootzboy (1739) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 10, 2007
Poured a deep reddish-copper with a 1 finger cap displaying modest retention and lacing. Color is correct for a Vienna (about 15deg. Lovibond) .
Aroma is right for a Vienna..toasty, bready but not sweet some hay-like hallertau hops...very subdued though in this beer.
Taste is better, a fair dose of rich toasty Munich malts in the front are joined mid palate with spicey-herbal noble hops finish is clean lightly drying and biscuity.
This is a decent crafted all malt Vienna....very servicable and drinkable. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 3, 2007
(Bottle, courtesy of Sledge Jr) Pours a clear amber body with a spare off-white head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, and toastiness. Flavor of nuts, caramel, and toffee.

12 ounce bottle. Shaker glass. Cloudy amber with a thin head. Aroma was light malt and caramel. Taste was slightly bitter to start, but smoothed as it warmed, with notes of malt and caramel. Nicely balanced, but nothing really stood out.

Pours a nice dark amber color, transparent, and had a white head; but the fact the head left with no trace brings it down. Smell of caramel and toffee. Sweet caramel greets your taste buds, paired with some toffee and a soft, earthy bitterness to even things out. Really well balanced taste. Higher carbonation than average, medium bodied. After finishing up a test, this one hit the spot nicely. I’d have another, but unfortunately this is the only one I had.
Worth a try. FreshHawk (596) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - SEP 23, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2010 Bottle.
A - Light, crisp copper, orange color. Smaller than average, foamy, bubbly, active head. Below average retention with just a small patch of lace left.
S- A lot of toasted malt with caramel and toffee coming out strong. Also a bunch of apple and floral aromas comes out. Hints of toasted bread, but not much.
T - Similar to the nose with a lot of toasted caramel malt and plenty of apple. Some spicy, earthy hops along with some herbal and floral hops as well. They definitely play second fiddle to the caramel malt though. Some mineral and toasted bready flavors come out, but they are definitely an after thought. Some grainy and earthy/nutty flavors mid to finish sip.
M - Lighter side of medium body with around average carbonation. Fairly crisp with a sticky feel.
D - Pretty drinkable beer with a decent mix of flavors. Pretty standard for the style.
Notes: An average/middle of the road beer. Not bad but not outstanding. A lot of malty flavor with a decent hop flavor. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - DEC 1, 2012

On tap at the brewery. Amber and clear appearance with an off-white, light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, caramelized malts, earthy hops, light spices and toffee. Similar flavor, toasted/roasted malts and a smooth, crisp medium body. Wow.
