Cask at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Pinkish gold with no head. Sweet and sticky cider, little happening on the apple front. Not good for me.

Cask at craft beer company, London. I didnt get a strong presence of rum in this, though it was a flavourful cider and not artificially sweet like so many. Pleasant.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell. It pours a deep golden color with no head and a small ring of bubbles. Aroma is intense and complex with apples, hay, wood, vinegar and alcohol. Taste is sweet-sour, medium dry, with big apple and barnyard notes. Some liqueur and wood as well. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Overall, tasty complex and refreshing. Great stuff.

On tap at Wellington Arms, Bedford, in 1st Welly Summer Cider Festival ’11. Orange-gold with very slight haziness. Sweet aroma with a quite distinctive rum aroma. Dusty, woody taste is quite pervasive. I almost forgot it was cider. Slight dryness to finish. Definitely drinkable.

Bottle at the East Croydon Beer Tasting. Pours light gold with a few bubbles. Some ripe apples on the nose with hints of booze and sugar. Medium sweet flavor, very dry, just faint funk and tartness, semi-sweet apples. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Extreme dry finish, modest sweetness and slightly underripe apples. Great cider.
