not the most interesting drink in the world, but it serves its purpose. it fills the gap between their light beers and their darker beers, giving you the option to get something with more flavor than a fisher cat ale, but not too heavy.
Draft at the source. Clear golden amber color, medium white head. Aroma of subtle grass. Taste is light tropical fruit, mildly bitter finish. oteyj (2139) - New Hampshire, USA - NOV 22, 2010
Clear amber pour with a small white head. Spicy fruity dough and caramel-toffee round out the aroma. The flavor holds a slight hop bitterness with some caramel and grain notes. Medium body with low carbonation and a clean finish. mcox90 (2107) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 15, 2010
On tap at Milly’s. Pours a light amber/gold color with a 1/2" off white head. Aroma is faint malt. Taste is slightly sweet with a light hop undertone. Moderate to thin in the mouth. Inoffensive, drinkable beer. Enjoyable as long as you don’t expect to much. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 15, 2009
Tap at millys. Pours a nice deep golden with a thin head. Aroma is grassy fresh hops, slight citrus- good caramel malt profile. Flavor is ok malts throughout and a fresh hop grassyness- a bit green with a fairy clean and crisp dry finish - ok hop bitterness- on the light side overall but still well made. This was drinkable but utterly blank. It had a slight everything. A slight aroma of hop and a slight taste that never became more than bland. Not offensive in any way but just a waste of time. It seemed to me the brewer sleep walked through this one. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - APR 12, 2008
Pours a copperish color with very minimal head and lacing. Slightly sweet, malty aroma. It’s a pretty smooth, decent tasting overall beer but is a little bland. There’s a slight floral taste in there mixed in with some malts. Doesn’t really seem to be a typical "Harvest" beer, reminds me a little more like a Lager. There seems to be a pretty standard Milly’s approach. Adequate but moderate hopping. Very dry, no residual sugar, thin in the mouth. Although lightly hopped the finish is all hops because of how little malt is present. Enjoyable, like the others, and averagte, like the others. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - OCT 30, 2006
sampled at Milly’s Tavern. Aroma is light malts/hops. Taste is dry malts and some fruity notes with a nice hop balance. JoeMcPhee (9454) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 20, 2006
Pale golden colour. Fresh fruity aroma, dry pale malt with a touch of caramel aroma as well. Light mango/orange over the top. Flavour is somewhat bland, some pale malt, light fruity hops/esters. Finishes with berryish esters mingled with tropical fruit.
