Draft @ brew pub. Shaker shows a mostly clear amber color with good retention. Nose is lots of spice and mild yeast. The flavor is over the top spice with the before mentioned yeast. On tap at Milly’s Tavern during a poetry slam open mike night. The color is copper orange with a foamy, silky head that lingers on. There was plenty of aroma such as nectarines, malts and I think their "secret spices" included Rosemary. The body is creamy, smooth, and around medium. A lightly hazed golden amber saison with a thin white head. A very perfumey aroma of sandal wood, light phenolics, interesting. In mouth, a good oily malt base with some lavanders notes, a bit of astringence, but overall pleasant. On tap at the brewpub, April 5, 2010. The look: Clear golden blonde topped by a an off-white ring of foam
In long: Nose has some oranges and a strange array of spices. Taste is dominated by and aggressive spiciness. I didn’t pick up any wild yeast character in this beer. Taste is a mix is mineral water, dried fruits, overripe fruits. too much spices and some garbage juice. The finish feels dry and dusty. More than just the taste, the body has a mineral water mouthfeel. A strange beast that is mostly off. I did not finish my pint. I suspect (hope for them) that they fucked up that particular batch because this was lame and not even remotely a Saison. That’s one small pint of bad beer for me, one giant batch of bad beer for Milly’s Tavern.

Appearance : Hazy orange.
Aroma : Fruits and spices. Really spicy.
Taste : Spicy cloves or another spice. Not much yeast. Spicy finish.
Overall : Quite unbalanced with to much spices. Not really good.
Clear golden pour with a one finger offwhite head that disspiates into a veneer. Aroma is spicy clove and banana esters, toasty malt, lemon, and coriander. Flavor has a nice light dry wheat note with lots of spicy clove, lemon acidity, orange, banana, tropical fruit, and dry spicy dough. Palate is full for the style with a slippery, dry finish and medium carbonation. On tap at the brewpub. Pours a light amber hue with a 1/4" off white head. Aroma is cloves, coriander and orange peel. Moderate, but soft palate. Completely new saison by current brewer, using Belgian Y-yeast. Unfiltered, soft mouthfeel. White pepper and cardemon give it an edginess. Light colour and you can see the carbonation bubbles.
