Pours a lgiht amber with a thin head. Aroma is a nice fruity hop character- clean citrusy hops, a bit green but not sign of the metallicyness I get form some cascade beers, Flavor has hitns of fruity amarillo, and cascade, floral zesty and citrus- light pine needle as well- ok malt backbone and a pretty good hop bitterness. Named after the city in which Milly’s is located (Manchester, NH) the taste is worthy of having the city’s name attached. Although i am not a huge IPA fan, i can make an exception for this pub classic changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - APR 12, 2008
Nice amber color with a medium head and lace. Pretty nice hoppy flavor to it with sweet notes a slightly bitter finish. Not quite as strong or flavorful as most other IPA’s I’ve had but this is something I would get again. Ungstrup (37905) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 9, 2008
Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy copper colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of grapefruit from Cascade hops. The flavor is sweet again with strong notes of grapefruit from the Cascade hops, leading to a dry bitter finish, where the alfa acids makes their mark. Amber with a small white head. Pine, roses, perfume in the aroma. Dry and malty flavour with a bitter finish, lots of pine hop flavour.

Deep golden/pale amber colour, small white head, which lasts for quite some while. Aroma is hops, grapefruit and some grass. Flavour is hay, grass and some fruityness. Quite typical American style IPA.
Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Haze amber, lasting bubbly beige head. A load of flowery grapefruit hop. Surprisingly full in mouth, decent syrupy toffee structure, herby grapefruit, not much condition, but a pleasant IPA and one of the few this week that’s had a good body. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2007
Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - GBBF 2007. A copper coloured beer. The aroma is very hoppy. Heavy pine and citrus notes. The taste is hoppy, bitter and dry. Decent fruits but needs more malt. Nice enough. WISEGUY572 (1377) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 27, 2007
My favorite style is an IPA, and this one was only OK. Nicely hopped with Cascade, a bit thin and dry, insufficient malt presence. OK but one dimensional. Long bitter finish.
