My favorite style is an IPA, and this one was only OK. Nicely hopped with Cascade, a bit thin and dry, insufficient malt presence. OK but one dimensional. Long bitter finish.

Draught. Copper body, medium white head, with a hoppy (soap, citrus) aroma. Flavor is hoppy, malt a little on the slight side, and a good floral bitter finish. Nice beer, but a tad thin.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2012 In short: A pleasant earthy and citrusy IPA. Good beer.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Almost clear bopped body topped by a small beige head leaving lots of lacings on the glass
In long: Nose is earthy good old fashion C-hops. Taste has a solid malt backbone, crunchy toasted cereals, caramel, earthy orange skin, peppery hops, citrus fruits. Bitterness in the medium range. Strong overall earthy sensation but far from unpleasant, this was in fact pleasantly earthy. Only available on tap at the brewpub, because what happens in Manchester stays in Manchester.

You like Cascade hops? You’ll LOVE Manch-Vegas IPA. It reminds me of what some not-to-bright regulars told me in a Morlands pub in Oxford 15 years ago: "That beer’s brewed with hops... Just hops."

Pale amber beer with a thin white head. Sweet citrus hop aroma. Lightl resin/grapefruit aroma. Loverly hop flavour on the back. Moderate bitterness with a touch of resiny hop flavour and bitterness. Well-crafted, refreshingly dry pint.

Volgon fed me the old version of this beer from a leaky keg. This was after it spilled on my shoes naturally. Most of the carbonation was gone from this keg. With all that said, it was still pretty good. Thanks Volgon
