Cask handpull at Pembury Tavern as Milton Dionysus. Pale golden yellow, still and clear with a small foamy off white head. Aroma is biscuit and straw, honey and pale wood. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is biscuity, straw, astringent grassy/woody hops. Light sugary malt and woody hops. I like this quite a lot.

Cask at the Pembury Tavern - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Doughy biscuits in the nose with hints of hay, pale grains, lemon rind, very slight butter. Light sweet flavour with further dough, pale grain husk, straw, a little grassy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Nice balance in the finish, some citric hops, lemon rind, pale biscuits. Enjoyable.

stravale (3145) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - OCT 16, 2016
Cask @ Ship and Mitre, Liverpool [040916]

Golden, clear, bubbly white head

Aroma of fruits malts, apricot, bitter grape

Taste of light sweet malt, bitter frain, bitter herbal, paracetamol, really not drinkable at all

Palate - Light body, very very bitter. Finish is very dry, very bitter malt grain, metallic paracetamol

Overall - Should have been better even though it was the ’end of the barrel’

Cask at the Devonshire Arms. Mid-gold,exceedingly clear. Quite a lot of carbonation at first but this seems to dissipate quickly. Almost no head. Grain and butterscotch dominate the aroma. The taste isn’t much improved: a sweet/savoury, buttery mess. Like eating one of those Japanese baked-potato candies. Worst Milton beer I’ve had by a country mile.
